As a long time customer service person, I'd have been frustrated with him. Been to Bethany many times and am very familiar with the town. Looks like those Deputies spent a lot of time at the donut shop at the intersection of Bus. Hwy 69 and Main St. They used to have some of the best glazed donuts I've ever eaten. Wonder if it is still in business. Like most small rural towns in Missouri, the cops are generally ignorant of and unconcerned with ensuring personal civil rights and they are suspicious of strangers.

I have watched a few bad policing video's and when I say a few I mean a few thousand but in all of those I can not recall someone being arrested for doing less . Apparently if your questions about parking frustrat a secretary you can have your rights stripped from you and at the very least a 24 hour loss of your freedom. In other word how dare you ask the public servants to serve ? Even if its nothing more than questions about parking . How can they sleep at night knowing unless they're actually that ignorant and uneducated and without empathy.. knowing that your responsibility is to uphold the constitution and enforce laws not feelings or policies or a butt hurt secretary.

I don’t have (yet) a GoPro, however, I’ve two smartphones I keep on me at all times. The one I have set to record which upon stopping AUTOMATICALLY transmits the recorded encounter to the ACLU and selected contacts. The other records live-streaming video. I never thought the situation would get SO BAD with law enforcement that I’d find it necessary. Law enforcement is OUT OF CONTROL anymore in this country. It is reminiscent of the “show me your papers” actions of Nazi Germany’s (Geheime Staatspolizei) Gestapo and the Soviet Union’s ( Komitet Gosudarstvennoy Bezopasnosti) KGB. Should I ever be jailed for exercising my 1st Amendment rights I hope the food is Al least palatable.
Addendum: Decided to order the GoPro. It arrives on the 6th of September. Once I get things “together” I’ll start my auditing as “Olphart Veteran”
