Look you officers are people like everyone else once that badge comes off you are a civilian just like the rest. So remember that. If you are having a bad day walk it off or talk with someone. To allow yourself to escalate to were you kill someone for no apparent reason rather your on the job or not you need to go to jail longer then other inmates who are not afforded the same services you officers are such as: counseling 24 hour , better medical and dental ,psychiatric, psychologist services through the government.
