Why are they suing for such little amounts
I respect the guy for trying to do the court case on his own however he should have retained an attorney because $25,000 is nowhere near enough for everything that they did. And once again the other problem with situations like this is that the only penalty that cops ever get is a civil lawsuit but nothing happens to them and they go right back out on the street and keep doing the same crap and they don't care that they're violating the law because the corrupt prosecutors for whatever reason refuse to prosecute them like they should and they know that the corrupt Police department is going to indemnify them so they don't even worry about having to pay anything even if they lose the lawsuit because they know that the taxpayers will get stuck with the bill. The justice system in our country is completely corrupt from top to bottom. are countries forefathers that wrote the Constitution I guarantee are rolling in their graves and if they were alive today they would not put up with this crap and I guarantee we would most likely either have already fixed the problem or if it was so far gone like it is now then our forefathers would probably end up going to war with the government like they did against the British government when they got out of control but who knows.
Qualified Immunity needs to be thrown out when it comes to cases like this where these cops make double standards, and he should of been awarded $200k for what happened here and it should have come out of the cops pockets not the average citizen!!
