Dude really messed up charging in like that threatening the guy in the bush and majorly screwed up touching the cop. Absolutely stupid behaviour that should be called out. But the cops definitely could’ve and should’ve handled things better, this was clearly excessive force and could’ve killed that guy. No ambulance is entirely unacceptable in any situation but especially when someone has been slammed head first into concrete and KO’d! What a joke of a response, a sad joke but a joke nonetheless. Cops and dispatchers should be sued, they could have killed that guy or left him with life long disabilities.
Unfortunately ACAB is a saying for a reason, cops like this, ones that do far worse and those protecting them or standing by and doing nothing/looking the other way. For any cops reading this, I know it’s not all of you, but you have to police your own ranks and get rid of the so called few bad apples. People seem to have forgotten how that saying actually went, it was always “one(a few) bad apples spoil the barrel” and people need to remember that.
To the honest cops actually upholding the law, not abusing their power and protecting/helping their communities, thank you for your service.

C'mon…the cops had to control the scene by any unlawful means necessary! The Supreme Court encourages the violence by providing cops with Qualified Immunity which protects the cops from accountability for their crimes against citizens.
Some of the police look for any situation that they can easily escalate to a use of force and arrest.
Law enforcement officers look forward to things like this because they want to hurt people and get away with it! To me this is criminal!!! They put hands on him first and they had no lawful right to put hands on him I understand why he extended his hand and put up against the guy because he did make a threat to the other citizen! But the officer went immediately hands-on with no de-escalation and it just further tells you how incompetent law enforcement officials are that the EMTs went to the police station and not to the scene!
How genuinely compassionate thèse officers are in regards to this young man's rights.
