Don't you love that government gives us tickets for not wearing our seatbelt, yet their vehicles they use to forcibly transport us, including school buses, many times do not have seatbelts?
Details: https://thecivilrightslawyer.com/2024/03/21/cops-take-homeless-man-for-a-ride-now-paralyzed-double-amputee/
Yes keep us posted love your work brother
He has no violence on his record. Just trespass
This is one of the saddest things I've ever seen on Youtube and that says *a lot*. Understanding the damage done to this poor, innocent man on that first reckless stop of the vehicle, then watching how he was dragged out severely increasing the damage already done to a clearly unconscious injured person, and then again on the bumper and AGAIN on the concrete I just can't watch anymore. This is not good for me. I think I'm off Youtube forever after this.
His crime being homeless
Her tone is appalling, and so is everything that happened here. I justice prevails in this situation.
Can you say seat belt laws???
these mall cops need some jail time!
How can dumb people be hired as cops.this is so criminal both cops need prison time for the rest of there lives
I can't watch this.
His family filed a lawsuit. Where was his family when he was sleeping on the street.
Tyrant Thacker is the typical LEO who has lost all humanity when dealing with pesky citizens. He has no interest in doing his job professionally, no concern for the welfare of his prisoners, no compassion for his fellow man (unless they belong to his ThinBlueLyin’ Gang!).
$75,000???? THEY SHOULD GET 3.5 MILLION EASY.
Officer should be charged with reckless driving IMO. Is there such a charge as "Depraved Indifference". If so, for both officers IMO.
Why isn't it criminal negligence causing bodily harm?
The US treats its black population worst than animals, yet preach to the world about democracy and human rights. This is beyond evil
First, they're criminalising being poor, which an officer has discretion about enforcing. Second, they want to make it a felony. Third, they cripple and maim the self same poors they're purposely persecuting with massive levels of neglect.
Kinda sounds like tyranny. Or, exactly like class warfare… authoritarianism. And then they wonder why they're universally hated. Gee, I wonder what it could be…
We transport cows and pigs better than that, but in this police officer view these people life's worth less than a cow
This chick, backed up by a large man with a gun (just in case) is on a power trip. One thing I cannot stand after nearly 70 years of life and 40 years of practicing law, are those who want power, but refuse to accept the responsibility that goes along with exercising it. You forcibly deny a man his freedom, YOU take ownership of what happens thereafter.
Cops are awful.
Seems to me she was giving the transport driver code to “what can we do?” It seems like they all know what the plan is. It’s not like arresting him is gonna change his “unhoused” status…. He would most likely be booked and released, so what point besides torture is there in taking him to jail? Or maybe “taking the ride” was literally the point.
Torture by ride.
Where is the criminal charges?
Just the fact that the transporting somebody in one of those vans without a seatbelt that sums it all up, you should’ve never been transported in that van in the first place without the seatbelt to protect him in case there was an accident or delivered attempt by that pig officer to do what he did.
What we have here, are oxygen thieves, also called [cough] "officers" With chain of custody, doesn't his property then become "evidence" and they threw it in the trash which I believe is"evidence tampering" .. I say charged them with attempted murder cause that's how they would charge anyone of us. .. Someone should take them for a …"RIDE" …. equal justice under the law and all.
being poor and homeless is a big problem for her.
