  2. Her problem was getting out the car. Her problem was cooperating when she knew she did not have to. Let him ratchet things up. You have to stand for something or you will fall for anything. He did wrong got sued but still supported by the administration. SMDH

  3. A nasty arse cop who had nothing better to do than harrass & abuse a law abing citizen – end of. The very fact he continued to harass this woman whilst in freezing temperatures is an absolute disgrace. Seems he enjoyed getting his jollies off being nasty for no reason whatsoever. I do hope this lady gets justice for an absolute abuse of nonexistent power.

  4. I've been in a similar situation, except I was taking a power nap during a long drive home. Car was running to keep the heat going and I was slumped over steering wheel. Tap tap on the window, I sluggishly look up, see that it's a cop and roll down the window. First thing he says, "Are you OK?" I explained I had long drive home and had stopped to refresh. He said to make sure I stopped as often and for as long as I needed, most important to get home safe. This is in Australia.

  5. I still wonder we read and hear about it on the news about cops being killed in the line of duty they bring their premature deaths on themselves people can only take so much before they snap there's nobody more abusive than badge wearing terrorists

  6. I don't understand how this could be looked at as anything other than pure harassment. His ONLY reason for even speaking to this woman was to inconvenience her as some sort of punishment for being a first amendment auditor and/or to prove that HE could be the one to force her to cooperate. It's a pure display of ego, machismo, and disregard for her rights as a fellow American and fellow human being. He should be stripped of his badge and charged immediately

  7. literally had the same thing happen to me. Was sitting waiting for doordash orders watching videos. Had a cop pull up behind me and scare the shit out of me by knocking on my window. And sais i was suspicious because i was just "sitting there while everyone else was coming and going"

  8. This settled but the officer is in a far more serious lawsuit when a man died in his custody….

Officer named in another federal lawsuit

Taylor is also one of three defendants in the federal lawsuit stemming from the death of Edward Snukis: a Pennsylvania man who died in police custody on Sept. 13, 2019 after officers responded to a call of a man wandering around a closed East Side car lot.

According to the lawsuit, as well as body and dashcam footage from Evansville police, Snukis attempted to run away from police after they approached him, leading to a struggle. Officers tased him multiple times, hit him in the head with closed fists, and applied pressure on his head, neck, shoulders, chest, and back while he was pinned to the ground.

  9. So they have records of who has in the past been an auditor? There should not be records of lawful activity that cops can retain and use in the future, like how it said she was unreasonable or whatever.
