  1. Man i feel for you people who live in countries where police carry guns , your literally 1 false step away from losing your life, I'll never complain about living in the UK again.

  2. It’s a noise complaint at a operating business that has always made noise, it’s a city ordinance. I’m a retired sheriffs officer, I would inform the person in charge of the complaint and remind them of the complaint and if I returned it would be a ticket. A ticket written against the business. Let the judge hand out the punishment unless the person became hostile then it’s a different matter. In the end I always was under the assumption that a business has the same protections as your home, specially if they where told they where trust passing. The man when back inside. They followed. The cop was butt hurt. The cop still wins no matter what happens. He got his rocks off and the guy is screwed.

  3. It sounds like he's being "detained", if so, he's not free to leave. I'd expect that any place that is open to the public would also be open to police without requiring a warrant, since police are also part of the public. Not really enough information to be sure.

  4. Let's break this down. Clearly my campers, trucks, cottages, garages and all outbuildings, are protected under the law. The gym membership makes it private by law. Factories hold the same standard as your house. If the police want an employee without a legal warrant to search that is up the employer. Read your search warrants prior to letting any one in they have to supply you with a copy. In my state it's illegal to have a no-knock warrant. Some states bars are private.
