  1. When are this cops are going to learn that there costing cities and counties millions of dollars from lawsuit for there retarded actions. Cops are taking this jobs way too serious and power hunger. There is point been serious and been serious. They have problems attitude and whatever they say they are right and citizens are wrong. Once again this cops should be held accountable they not stop this problem attitude they have.

  2. § 40-8-76.1 "(b) Each occupant of the front seat of a passenger vehicle shall, while such passenger vehicle is being operated on a public road, street, or highway of this state, be restrained by a seat safety belt approved under Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 208." So, yes the driver is correct as to seat belts not required on private property.

  3. Where I live seatbelt is a secondary charge. You have to be pulled over for something else first like speeding. Cops are out of control. As long as citations written and arrest are the bases of raises and promotions. Cops will continue to flex their authority and abuse their power. We need a check and balance in the system. Like bad citations and arrest count against future raises and promotions. Also their performance records be public knowledge. Also make any reward from lawsuits come partially out of department budgets. If the settlement equals or goes over their salary. They will be suspended for a year or budget money is found to pay their salary…. Why isn't ballot initiative being used by rights groups to make solutions like this Law?

  4. The behaviour of these police officers was shocking and completely unacceptable. It was sheer bullying. Their violent behaviour renders them unfit to be police officers.

  5. Cops are QUICK to threaten you with a trip to jail if you don't follow their sadistic
"commands". If cops are threatened with a lawsuit , they'll laugh in your face. They won't have to pay a penny. The taxpayers will foot the bill.

  6. You should have a lawsuit coming, who decided it was the state's job to tell us to wear our safety bills. If not politicians, not the people you're corrupt ass politicians are trying to bleed innocent people dry and we are getting sick of it. And the cops are nothing but the debt collectors we are sick of you too.
