There is clear corruption in that town and county. They have a clear double standard going on. Why am I not surprised? How is a counsel member observed breaking the law allowed to take over traffic stops and the police take a knee? This shows exactly how corrupt police are. They say they uphold our laws but they don't. They are owned by a counsel member. You can't trust the police to uphold our laws.
I would have to see more footage. I didn't see him out of his lane in the video.

Just an update on this. Two on Rincon City council, Kevin Exley and Michelle Taylor, called a special called meeting to address these interference issues.
I am sorry, but I need more information on the councilman to judge him. In our community, there is a high distrust of law enforcement.
In this day & age of police overreach, this cop seems to be rather calm & decent at the halfway point. "Hello Boss man" already stinks of corruption.
My only advise to motorists or any citizen caught up in a police action &/or a traffic stop is to 1) record it all & 2) stop talking & do not answer any questions other than those concerned with the action of the police!
Too many people will not stop talking & you can incriminate yourself by doing so; so SHUT THE F UP.
In Illinois we have no bill of rights!!! No protection under to CONSTITUTION!! No 2and ammendment no 4th ammendment and they WILL BEAT YOU IF VFC YOU USE YOUR 5TH!!! TELL ME I LIVE IN AMERICA, AND NOT NORTH KOREA!!!!
