I usually support law enforcement, but this is exactly why people hate cops. Insane to pull him over on the damn highway because you cut him off and he honked! Dangerous to have a hotheaded cop with an easily hurt ego.
That should’ve been a complaint to that officer’s department, but being that he is EMS and has to work with these guys all the time, I can certainly understand why he would not wish to do that. He would never hear the end of it, and essentially create for himself a hostile work environment.

I know this is an old clip. The spacing of the cars in the left lane is less than one second apart even before the cop tries to pull into that lane. This was not a safe maneuver by any stretch. In addition he stated he felt he had room because he could see the ambulance's headlight but that doesn't hean the driver could see the warning (blinker) of that vehicle was going to make a lane change. All said and done the cop should have been a better citizen about the whole thing and left with a wave and considered it to be an error, but time and time again we see how law enforcement have egos or genetic factors that block this ability. Hitting the reds and blues to force a confrontation was a further attempt to escalate the encounter. Seeing the dash camera probably caused the LEO to walk it back.
Cops are kids who got picked on in highschool. Don't get upset. I choose God as my dashcam. Why? Cuz this world is fuxed. God will be the final judge. Period
Should have filed a complaint against the officer. Needs an ego check. If a normal person acted like that officer they would be cited for road rage.

I didn't see this video five months ago. So I'm late to the party. But, Steve's EMT partner was wrong. Steve was right to call out that trooper for reckless driving caught on his dash cam. I've had dashcams in my vehicles for the last five years. If you don't have one, get one. Especially if you're a senior driver. There's a scam happening where they target older drivers getting into staged fender benders. They know that most older drivers don't have dashcams. But, no matter who you are, get one, like the Lackluster channel says. It might literally save your life.
