If you watch the dog and the handler, the dog passes the bag , the handler redirects the dog by pointing, handler points to the bag, the dog stands there, now watch the handler walk past hiding his right arm against the wall putting his hand behind his back, the dog looks at his back and then that's when he gives the dog the hand signal to sit! So obvious using misdirection distraction and slite of "hand"! The handler hand signaled the dog to sit behind his back! I used to do magic long ago and usually nothing got past me!
kinda makes me want to go thru TSA with about 100K$ of "Movie Money" to see if DEA would try to confiscate it only to find out its prop money after they take it. Also makes me wonder how much gold/platnum one can carry in luggage… lets say 10 – 15 kugerands or 1 oz bars etc… since it isnt cash, will they still try to take it?

Every one of us should be up in arms about this aggressive, unconstitutional, bullying behavior by bad actors within OUR government. I’m happy to boycott, march, or help in noticeable ways. This is wrong. Bringing this to the attention of someone running for president, for example, would be a great idea. He would certainly stand against this illegal practice.
One of the worst things is when an officer says "why are you making such a big deal out of it. If you have nothing to hide then what's it matter?? Your making a big deal out of something so simple" Their logic is so flawed and unacceptable and where's it end?? With a bag,purse,home,on your body?? All over Suspicions and no proof or probable cause!!! They did a study of Dog handlers in Australia and it showed that dog's got it wrong 80%+ of the time mainly because the handlers were manipulating the dog's to make it act as if it got a positive hit. Could be a tug on the leash, a hand gesture or something else very subtle.

I once made the mistake of running for my gate, so that I did not miss my flight. They profiled me because of it, and searched my carry on bag. I was not pleased, and I let them know it. The same flight, TSA did a full search on a family of 5, inc grandma, who was using a walker. Searched all their carry on, made them remove their shoes, patted them down, again, inc grandma.
Legally, if they are detaining your bag, they are detaining you as your bag is an extension of your person and is protected by the 4th amendment same as the owner. Your bag is part of your person, your body. There is no seperation under the 4th Amendment.
It is also clear in the video that the "drug dog" walked right past the bag and only alerted when the handler directed it to.
These DEA agents practically admitted to violating people's rights and conducting illegal searches for years. "I've been doing this for years, I know what I am doing". Yes…I am sure they do.
They also admitted to what they are searching for. "We're searching for money. Our dogs alert to drugs, weapons, and money." (especially when they signal the dog to alert to the bag)
DEA isn't the only one needing sued. The airport, the airline, and the TSA need to be sued as well. TSA cleared them and all entities allowed illegal searches to be conducted without valid RAS or warrant.
Never consent to searches, they will always bite you in the a$$.

This should NEVER be allowed! If the state 1) convicts the owner of a crime and 2) proves that specific items are profits resulting from that crime, then I agree that the government should take these items in addition to punishment to prevent the owner from profiting from crime. Otherwise, the officials are committing armed robbery and the courts are sanctioning that robbery. Why should we work and avoid crime if our government insists on punishing us at random anyway?
