Our laws are based solely upon the Constitution and the Constitution alone. Your interpretation of the federalist papers doesn't change that fact, nor make you a constitutional scholar. Now as fact of this woman's stop, anyone with common sense and a minor understanding of the law. Knows:
1. That a police officer has the right under law to stop a driver of a motor vehicle if they fail to maintain their lane. ( It was a lawful stop, Period.)
2. Under a lawful traffic stop, a police officer has the right under law. To ask for the drivers,, license, registration and insurance. ( This is were this woman made her first huge mistake. A states driver's license is the property of the state of issuance. Not the property of the citizen in which it was issued). So when this woman failed to hand over her license to the officer. She failed to comply with a lawful order and only escalated the situation. She chose to take this action, not the officer.
3. You also went on to say she was beaten, choked, unlawfully arrested and went as far to say she was sexually assaulted. Well if so with this officers body cam and the jail video she should have no problem having this officer arrested, convicted and put behind bars. But I ask, why isn't she trying to hold that officer accountable. She seems more worried about proving the legality of jurisdiction instead. I know what I'd be more concerned about if that would have been my wife or daughter. If everything you and her says was true, would be. It wouldn't be jurisdiction for sure.
