They wanted that car from the beginning. They can have the car back if they pay the extortion fee but why couldn't they just keep the car. The county will put an unconstitutional hold on the car based on agency wants and whims and if the family cannot afford to pay the extortion fee then the cops are going to invoice the car and sell it for profit or keep it for one of their pigs to unlawfully own.
