  1. How sad! One has to ask; do technical wrongs by another, equal the right to take a life? I don't think so; and after all the daytime legalistic justification conversations have come to a close, and that deputy is lying in bed staring up the ceiling, thinking about the life he took needlessly, he might not think so either.

  2. This country has made it were criminals are more protected than law abiding citizens because I’m sorry but this dude decided to run knowing he was going to jail and you are responsible for your actions. Yes the department policy was violated but how is that policy in place but police can chase you and PIT you under most circumstances that’s what I don’t understand. Tasing someone who is running from arrest, on the interstate is bad but PITing someone on the interstate well that’s ok because you don’t know if they could roll over or collide with another vehicle.

  3. Watching this video, does it leave you feeling kind thoughts of the police or are you less trusting of them. One thing it shows, they are not our friends, they are contemptuous of the public

  4. Expired registration, no insurance, driving with a revoked license, lied about his identity, drugs in the vehicle, ran from police. How many times do you have to fuck up? Also driving with a cat not in a kennel? Everything that happened this night is entirely on the driver, he knew he wasn't supposed to be driving and decided to run instead of give up. I'm all for police accountability but this one isn't it.

  5. If the officer had not tazed him, the criminal may have been an obstacle to the [innocent] driver in the roadway, making HIM swerve and possibly lose his life in a car wreck, or swerve into the police officer.
