Seriously his fingers and a bang bang would have worked just fine for a demonstration. Over twenty years ago a former San Diego police chief said in private that the number one thing cops wanted was a kill. It is a badge of honor in their circle. He tried telling them that wasn't right and they didn't understand what he meant so he dropped the issue. He was asked to come down and be the new chief for a while for the sake of having someone fresh come. Sounded like the city wanted change. I talked to him up in Redding back in 2003
