  1. At worst this cop will be forced to resign, and transfer his pension down the road to stalk new victims. He's got qualified immunity, so local taxpayers will get to pay 100% of the settlement. Qualified immunity has to be abolished.

  2. GOOD NEWS! The old "We have investigated ourselves in this matter and find no wrongdoing" excuse did not fly here. The officer was found to be intoxicated, was arrested, and booked into jail.
He likely lost his job, and qualified Immunity does not protect officers in an incident like this.

  3. There's a lot of times you post videos of cops and their corruption, the comments are filled with " They should be in jail" and though that is not always untrue, sometimes it's a stretch. This is one of those times where saying he needs to be in prison is a 100% factual statement.
He's not even in uniform and he has no problem doing this.

  4. But of course, I’d bet he faced zero accountability for his attempt at bodily harm to an innocent civilian. And then they wonder why the people have no faith in the (No)Justice System or Political Enforcers called Police.
