When this stuff goes to court the plaintiffs should not agree to settlement,i understand that the money offered can be large and useful but settling these cases doesn't teach the police involved a damned thing and we the taxpayers pay that settlement its better to push for full prosecution and be compensated for all damages including the anxiety and stress i aint no lawer but i am a taxpayer and i have been beaten by police and dealt with the injustice they like to inflict when they know they are gonna get away with it
Stupid deputy. So what if he ran from you, that's not illegal. But entering a home without a warrant is PRESUMPTIOUSLY UNCONSTITUTIONAL, therefore you violated the owner's rights. Then you arrest her in her own home without a warrant, another violation of her rights. Internal investigation or not, they will be giving her the videos when that civil rights lawsuit if filed.
2nd Video: They didn't know much did they, when no passenger was in the car. The use of the taser was not necessary, that was definitely excessive force.
As soon as the cop said "I own your house," that is grounds for a serious, lengthy suspension. A good judge will punish this cop for his egregious behaviour. A bad judge will go out their way to justify the cops actions against this family.
