Why do people get so upset for such a trivial stop? Normally, a traffic stop like that would be a very small ticket and then being on your way. But that's not how these types of stops go. A cop is not going to go through all the trouble to initiate a traffic stop for a bad tail light or headlight or even a failure to signal. It's not worth their time or trouble to do that. They are using, in almost all of these kinds of stops, these minor infractions to initiate other types of actions. We have a legal system that allows these law enforcement officials to do this. This is just one more reason why the United States of America is a broken system. The people In positions of leadership, including law enforcement, have too much power and misuse it more often than not. It is because of this that you cannot call the United States of America some sort of free country or any kind of democracy.
