The big problem here with these rehab facilities is they're privately owned but receive a lot of tax funded money … through Medicaid and a lot of other medical related state and federal money… that's why these facilities should be government owned …. I know this because it's a big problem here in Virginia… MAT (Medically Assisted Treatment) for opioid addiction is a huge moneybag the state and feds are paying for and there is of yet no standards in these places … I know because I'm a patient

How many judges, prosecutors, police, police unions, or their immediate family are invested in Rehabs, private prison, private juvenile detention centers? Then they get tax payer to subsidies building and maintaining the facilities then they keep the profits from charging the crap out of the insurance company's. This is the modle, it's been like this for the past few decades.

These Addiction Treatment Centers are governed by the Ohio Administrative Code and operate outside of law enforcement. You are in the overdose capital of the world and we need those treatment center for treating the disease of addiction.

You DO need a forensic accountant to find out where the money for these in house rehab facilities is landing in the endgame. Something dirty is going on. There is a reason they are keeping these facilities so deeply stocked thru the court system. It has to be a series of payouts, created jobs, and kickbacks.

6 months jail or 6 months rehab is their offer. In jail they make state & federal money for housing inmates, for 6 months in STAR they are making a shit ton MORE money.
It's a corrupt system that they are getting paid either way.
Of course they will RECOMMEND in house treatment…it all let's the money get piped into their pockets, and from there I'm sure there are kickbacks and payouts.
FORCING someone to go to rehab will do nothing for them. An addict has to DECIDE to change and quit leading whatever lifestyle they live. These rehabs are undoubtedly lining someones, probably multiple people"s, pockets and the prosecuters, judges, and police are in cahoots with them to get their facilities full for kickbacks. There NEEDS to be TRANSPARENCY on the funding, expenses, and cost. Something very dirty is going on. This system in Lawrence County is deep and dirty.

When you get out of star they send you back to mended reeds so my daughter has went from mended reeds then riverside now star then back to mended reeds so they get paid four times is that right and hasn't been home yet in star now then gotta go to mended reeds
