A driver was accidentally shot in the leg by a police officer during a traffic stop. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office released body camera footage of the incident that happened last month. The driver was pulled over for allegedly running a red light. While the officer was speaking to the driver, the driver stated he had a gun. The officer asked him to step out of the car, and that’s when the gun went off. Inside Edition Digital has the video.

This injury is the same type of injury a cop received in the death of my son. The department said my son shot the cop while running full speed away from the cops and he turned over his left shoulder while running and shot the cop. The cops belt was hit close to his body and the bullet traveled downward into the cops left hip the exact way this man was shot. Both of the cops hands tested positive for gsr but the department said the cop never pulled his gun out the holster the thing is he a personal gun and department issued gun on him. They claimed the bullet could not be removed to determine if the bullet came from my sons gun.

The driver had a round chambered, and the safety off? Not dismissing cup cakes actions but that's an accident waiting to happen. You don't handle a firearm like that. Maybe this is a good learning experience for him as well as a pay day.
