“Gypsy Cop” Moves 4,000 Miles Away, Then Does It Again

Police officer Brandon LeBlanc left Louisiana after 17 years of law enforcement experience to become a brand new rookie cop in Juneau, Alaska. Discovering the rookie officer was previously in Louisiana for 17 years, the community is left wondering why he left Louisiana in the first place…

  1. Oh, by the way, I didn't mention it in the video, but I contacted the law enforcement certification authorities in Alaska, sending them a link to both the Louisiana incident and the Alaska incident, asking if they were doing anything about this guy's certification, and also asking whether he had been given reciprocity as an officer when he arrived in Alaska, or whether he went to Alaska's police academy in Sitka. Just like the last video, no response as of yet…. This is their contact information: https://dps.alaska.gov/APSC/ContactUs

  2. Juneau hoped they could sweep it all under the rug, and let him resign so they didn't have to fire him…..Corruption right up front. Police Chief is full of crap, there was NO Transparency this time, and wouldn't be next time, a Liar is a Liar, Get a New Chief.

  3. So sad what an abuse of unnecessary force. He should be charged and stsnd trial for his actions. This was horrible, and the end result of how this man is after this encounter is a travesty.

  4. I knew a man once, he had been abused by local cops. He started a law suit and had to drop it when corrupt cops started dropping by his house once a day to ask him questions about crimes in the neighborhood that he had nothing to do with as he was not a criminal. They accused him of burglary, armed robbery, rape and murder. Turns out the cop he was suing was 3 months from retirement (beat cop for 40 years) and had trained thousands of other cops during his career. He was being sued by two other people for the same reason and my friend was his third. The officer in question had already started to settle on the other two and if he settled or lost the third one they were allowed to take his pension. Yet he still arrested this man and put him in jail for offering the friendly Police officers drinks. Soda, bottled water or a beer to take home for later, while they were working a crime scene on a scalding hot summer day. He was trying to help them. This senior cop took him in and told him he wasted 12 minutes of his time so he was going to waste 12 months of his life with a bunk charge, obstructing justice. Told him he'd be in court once a month for the next year and good luck telling your boss and getting another job when you get fired. Also told him he knew the charge wouldn't stick, but it wasn't about jailtime or even the law, that it was about "wasting 12 minutes of his life". That was 28 years ago. That same man was harassed by local cops after he moved from that area and was too afraid to make a report or sue them due to his prior experience. What was worse, one of the officers physically injured him. This was all on body cam and or audio from the cams of those cops on the scene. His superiors reviewed the footage without my friend complaining and did no more than let him go. He moved to the next town over and got a job at that dept. This is the type of thing that has to stop. What was done to my friend was a human rights violation. The second time it was as well but he was too scared that those police would harass or kill him that he hasn't done anything to this very day about it and I really think that was the point. I really feel for him, too. He has an anxiety attack when he so much as sees a police car. He also has an issue with loud, police style, knocks on his front door and he has put cameras everywhere in his car and home to prevent it from happening again. They ruined his life to get away with their schtick.
Almost forgot. A decade later, they tried to pick him up again, levy false charges against him for the same reason while he was visiting his family. Although that cop got away with it and retired, they still harassed him 10 years later just for being in the same town. Armed robbery again and again the charge was dropped but the damage was done. He had an arrest record with these charges on it and it effects his employment to this very day. I talked to him today, he's not doing well. This has to change.

  5. That guy was certainly making problems for himself but man, that was a completely inappropriate "technique". Wrestling moves and choke holds have not been allowed for a very long time for good reason. Another "respekt muh authoritah" type.

  6. This is the government that our founders were worried that the government would turn into if We The People allow them to get out of hand, This is one reason that We The People have become disillusioned with and do not respect LEO's throughout the country.

  7. Opening this video…how bad could it be. Seeing a man get suplex on concrete. Yeah cop needs to see jail time because that could have ended much worse over someone being belligerent.

  8. Alaska is a state that has issues with hiring police and will scrape the bottom of the barrel. There are even documented cases of police officers working in that state with felony records along with sex crimes and domestic violence. Feel free to look that up

  9. So he got a vacation and was allowed to resign (so he can be hired somewhere else) and no charges filed. Chief promises transparency but then stays silent because they have to protect their own. Sounds about right.

  10. For years, we have been gaslighted into believing that our first responders were heroes. As far as I am concerned, however, the corrupt and cancerous government blue line is a malignancy in our country. Instead of accountability and professionalism, We the People are often terrorized by individuals I would describe as government jackboot thugs. Where are the handcuffs? Where is the accountability? From where I’m sitting, there will never be true accountability, because the government blue line forbids such justice.
