There is a cop car two doors down at the right address and they try to break into the wrong house. The cops and the locksmith can't read. Neither can see more then 50'. As someone had to notice the third car two doors down. When jaw enforcement can't do the basic things. How can we trust they will perform any better in a higher stress action? All involved should be at least given an unpaid vacation of 30 days while they complete more training.
When citizens make mistakes, even little ones, the government monetarily punishes us. Each person involved here should be given at least one day off without pay as penance, just as citizens must Pay Up when we do something wrong.

why read the numbers on the house ..cops dumb .
I don't understand how they can make a mistake on an address nowadays. Just go on Google maps and you can see the house that corresponds to the address you are looking for. It takes but a few minutes. If the house you go to doesn't match the picture you know to recheck where you are.

I often times wonder do people really think that attempts to minimize a mistake are actually helpful? Acknowledge, apologize, return/restore what was done, but do not minimize what you did… that is so disrespectful and really makes it seem like you dont care.

First off as a real locksmith I check the address 4 time before entering.
Second that guy isn’t a locksmith. He starts out by drilling the lock. At a glance it locks lock a cheap ez set. He doesn’t try to pick it, and he drills in the wrong spot. Then he has no stock and has to go get a deadbolt to replace it. He gets a kwikset smart lock, which is better than a ez set but still trash. He apparently also doesn’t know how to rekey a simple pin tumbler lock. Just sad.
I wouldn’t even call this dude a handyman let alone a locksmith.
