DJ was driving to the store to get feed for his numerous farm animals. He was driving his crappy little "farm car" that did not have a valid inspection sticker. He was pulled over for that reason by the Martinsburg (WV) Police Department. Instead of being issued a warning or citation for the inspection issue, within seconds he ended up being arrested. Despite having committed no crime, other than the inspection sticker violation, he ended up being taken to jail in handcuffs and charged for being a drug dealer. All charges were subsequently dropped. A lawsuit was filed.

  2. How are these officers allowed to still serve after being proven to have lied on official legal documents and interviews under oath. These guys carry guns and kill innocent law abiding civilian's and are allowed to lie and deceive the public.

  3. Is there another job that you can constantly lie to everybody – fellow employees, supervisors, the court – constantly have it found out that you've lied, and there are no repercussions or accountability? How can people say the system isn't broken? This isn't isolated to one dept or even law enforcement group; it seems to be a law enforcement standard to lie. How is the public supposed to trust any of* it if you don't hold liars accountable and change that behavior?

  4. There is a reason they dont use dogs to find land mines and it isnt their size its the fact they are only so good at smelling and indicating. I would hazard a guess that dogs are accurate only about half the time because if they were accurate they would be miniscule amounts of false positives vs everyone knows someone who had the dog "alert" on their car or someone who the dog didn't alert when there was drugs in the car.

  5. The sad part is this crap happens every day.Cops lie then fabricate a story. All of the blue gang stick together. You get locked up and robbed at the same time .The video is the only thing that may save your ass ,So when They wernt filming I was and they stole my phone .THUGS

  6. I'm personally familiar with this area, and this particular police department has had officers implicated in organized drug distribution. I believe it was a (hopefully former) chief of police at the department. Perhaps TCRL is already aware of this and knew this was a good case to take.
