DUI * Driver's License checkpoints ARE LEGAL* – if u do not stop or show i.d./insurance, etc i can legally go to jail. WE LOSt thiS one until we get better judges to OVERTuRN their previous legal decision.

Regardless of what the U.S. Supreme Court has ruled ( insert ruling) doesn't mean it's constitutional. We the people have learned that just because something is "lawful" doesn't make it moral ethical or professional and that corruption cronyism favoritism etc, doesn't happen
Funny how I just looked it up and there is nothing from the supreme court saying that boarder check points are unconstutional.
As a matter of fact they said they didn't violate the 4th amendment because they are not searching. When it comes to laws and such how it is worded is very important.
The right to remain silent comes from English law and so it is the most English thing you can do. I'm so sick of fcking Americans trying to take credit for everything. This looks like one of those environmental checkpoints and honestly they only have the power to check for possible invasive species. If you tell them you don’t have watercraft then they say thanks and let you roll through.
If you do they literally just inspect the outside of your boat to make sure it doesn’t have any invasive species and then you’re on your way.
If you’re going to a place to use a watercraft somewhere they ask, you should care enough about the environment you’re traveling to and it’s preservation.
tldr this is an environmental checkpoint and they are far less intrusive then say a boarder patrol checkpoint 90 miles in.
So basically, if you disagree with what the Supreme Court says, fuck them. I’m sure there are rulings that’s a Supreme Court has made that if people disregard of them (second amendment issues) you would have a field day after you flip the fuck out.
Or just avoid the fuckery and bullshit that will inevitably come with doing this and just let them know… will save u lots of time headaches and potentially legal battles. Social warriors make me cringe
