I always thought it was stupid AF that cops use "informants" who are criminals and just want to get out of charges and will tell them anything. Have they not awakened to the fact that these are not trustworthy people? But, on the other hand, neither are the cops. I always supported police. But after my recent experience of having one lie on a traffic report, I'm done. Hope they never need my help, they won't get it.

WTF would cops continue to do a search for when they knew it was the wrong house! Even if they found something, it wouldn’t matter b/c it would be irrelevant b/c their raid was illegal to begin with! These are just more arrogant ignorant Chicago jack boot thug cops who don’t (didn’t) give a dam about being accountable to anyone!
This a very creative way to fish for drugs but really they are looking for cash to fund their operations.
these are filthy animals, sociopaths and tyrants who enjoy ruining the lives of innocents and traumatizing children for life. judge and prosecutor should be sued as well, just disgraceful. as usual, sounds like no repercussions will be forthcoming, please let us know if i'm wrong.
The whole system is rotten to its core
In the 1990’s my friends husband was at a birthday party with there 3 kids at a house in Canada. At 5:30 there were a total of 8 adults, 9 kids and one baby in the living room..while the birthday boy age 8 opened his presents.
When suddenly the city’s swat team stormed into the house and immediately shot the families dog that was in the middle of the living room.. when it lunged at one of the officers to try and protect his family and the guests.
(Everyone including the baby were sprayed with his blood and bits)
*The police later stated their communication was bad…as some of the officers knew the home owner was having a birthday party for his son that night.
*The police also stated…that the officers who were doing surveillance on the house before the raid..reported that all was quiet, because they were watching the wrong house next door.
*In fact 4 kids and one adult had been playing catch in the front yard just 10 minutes before the raid.
*The police were looking for drugs and found absolutely nothing.
*The story was huge at the time and Spread to the USA and Europe.

Another REAL POLICE STORY, you will NEVER see on Fox News. But a cop story CREATED for good PR of a cop giving a Teddy Bear to a kid will bring played over and over.
Notorious Chicago P.D., unfortunately this is standard operating procedure for them.
It's insane they don't bend over backwards to make things like this right after making such a dangerous and buffoonish mistake. And the fact they continued to search after realizing their mistake? They should be fired and ordered to pay restitution, pain, and suffering. Disgusting. They didn't do the smallest bit of corroboration before busting down their door.
