Judge in Trouble Again Over Walmart Allegations

Breaking today: You may recall the West Virginia judge who was featured in traffic stop body cam footage, which resulted in the filing of formal judicial disciplinary charges against him due to his behavior during and after the stop. That judicial disciplinary litigation is apparently ongoing, as it is being contested by the judge. But wait, there’s more…. Believe it or not, the same judge has now had a separate set of formal charges lodged against him by the West Virginia Judicial Investigation Commission. The new Formal Statement of Charges, filed on February 14, 2022, and just released today, contains allegations pertaining to, of all things, the Walmart self checkout process.

  1. While this is an older case, my curiousity was piqued when the comment was relayed from the LP staff via the prosecutor "that they hoped he wasn't going to be mad at Walmart." Now why in the world would someone say that?? Sounds like he had a prior ugly dialogue with the LP staff as though he contested the transaction and had attitude like the traffic stop for the cellphone. Just saying…

  2. Nothing shocks me about the criminality in government anymore. In the movie theater where a retired cop shot and killed a man for texting before the movie had even started and shot his wife through the hand and was acquitted, that was it for me. I just want to know what the hell the morons on the jury were thinking. That cop should have spent the rest of his pathetic life in prison.

  3. I've actually done the same thing. I scanned all the items in my cart, then spaced out and started walking out without paying. I caught myself and turned around and paid, but I could have made it all the way out of the store had I not caught myself. It's a completely honest mistake that would have looked like blatant theft.

  4. How bad a judge do you have to be to get double dip disciplinary charges in West Virginia. From what I have seen on your channel the bar is set pretty low down there. Crony corruption is endemic in our society and the fact it is probably worse in other societies is small comfort.

  5. Must be nice having a prosecutor do your leg work when the judge should have gone straight to Walmart and paid his bill. Walmart is foolish for not borrowing him from the store.

  6. CLICK the link to the FULL report!! that prosecutor needs to b smartly disciplined for what she did!! the judge needs to b taken off the bench for a year and a full psychiatric evaluation report done BEFORE hes ever considered back on the bench. something seriously askew here…

  7. I’m not entirely sure what to believe. The judge clearly makes enough of an income to easily pay for this Walmart heist. Why would he risk his career for a few hundred bucks? Brazenness? Did he actually forget to pay both times? I think he just has so much of an ego, that he no longer has an objective view of right and wrong. I think he just has a disregard for the law, because he thinks he is the law and rules don’t apply to him.

  8. A couple years ago I met a woman on the subway. Incredibly beautiful. She wanted to get some snacks so we went to a supermarket. She picked the chicken and put it directly into the bag. I know where the bags are is a scale it's not possible to fool that system unless it's a very light item as in rubber washers at Home Depot you can pay for one washer put two in your bag the system won't detect them. But a 10 lb turkey absolutely. I bring up this story because if two people are at the scanner one of them will know the items are or are not or not paid for. I didn't know that this woman was untrustworthy. If the judge or his wife were alone at the self-checkout they should have known things were not being paid for if they're both together how deep can the conversation be that they don't realize what's happening. I'm thinking that this judge might have dementia. That's the only thing I can think of other than deliberate theft. I've lived in Toronto and Hamilton Ontario and I've seen stores stolen out of business. There was a 7-Eleven near a Salvation Army and close to a liquor store those three businesses attract a lot of Thieves.
