Welcome back to the lackluster channel.
Today’s video comes from the F&A Empire channel. Originally we discussed another one of his videos to be featured, but I changed it up and wanted to show you all this one. Point being, he has some good Audits on his channel, definitely worth checking out.
F&A was conducting an audit of the Indianapolis police department when he noticed a gated area, but wasn’t sure if it was publicly accessible. Instead of entering the lot, he asked a local officer.
Having confirmed that the area was restricted, he prepared to leave, and the officer immediately escalates.
Just about every morning, I find trash on my property. I’ve never actually seen anyone litter on my land, but I know someone does it. If someone entered my business and asked if the restroom was restricted to the public, I wouldn’t immediately assume they were the perpetrators of perpetual piles of refuse. It’s not necessarily a moot point, but it is rather random to rile up an unrelated affair.
And just like that, the walk of shame. Lt. Croody tried to come up with a harassment argument that made absolutely no sense. F&A asked a legitimate question to Officer Fraser to avoid entering a restricted area, and that prompted her to call out 3 other officers to surround him. I fail to see how his actions were anything but legal.

I live in Indiana and it embarasses me to know that we have officers like this employed ANYWHERE in Indiana as PUBLIC SERVANTS. They do every DECENT officer and injustice by sullying the profession with their disrespectful, lying, ignorant attitudes. Shame on them.

Man: "I don't need anything" Stupid Lady Cop: "Ok, how can I help you?" This must be part of their training because I've seen it over and over. A person will repeatedly say they don't need help but the cop will continue to ask how they can be of assistance. I think it is so that the cop can interject themselves into the situation to then, at a minimum push the person off the property, or better yet try to force an ID, trespass, arrest, ect. It's a bullying technique.
I can't help but feel so many of these interactions should start with a simple "Am I being detained?"
If he is being detained, that is established.
If he is not being detained, then obviously he is free to stay. However, if they admit he is not being detained, at least the police have acknowledged that the interaction is willful.
With that said, the first lady in this video is ridiculously irrational. Full on Karen vibes where she has to make this guy listen to her whining about how she felt slighted by his polite request. She was so slighted by this that she can't even get to the issue of him videoing the cars (which is what the other cops wanted to discuss).
Finally, the one of the ladies whines that he is very confrontational after he just documents how she lied to him The one lady cop called for backup off of a simple question.
Another cop complains that he thinks the videographer's behavior is "borderline harassment", again failing to appreciate it is them harassing him. If anybody was confrontational here, it was them.
Cops LOVE to try to gaslight to try to derail honest recognition of the situation.
When he said "There a point of this that is Borderline Harasment!" I would have said If you guys would stop harassing me then none of this would have happened.

The police can and SHOULD wear their badge numbers on their backs, in large numbers, so they can be quickly and easily identified from a distance. EVERY police department should be like that. The cops in this video are VERY WEAK.

Good auditors are a good thing for society, but even though the original officer made a couple mistakes like failure to identify herself after engaging none of them even detained him nor tried to force him to do anything. They were far from tyrants. This ended up being a bad audit IMHO.
