  1. Details/Case Law: https://thecivilrightslawyer.com/2025/01/22/lazy-cops-make-a-youtube-video-about-wrongfully-arresting-a-janitor/
Two police officers in Asheville, North Carolina, violently arrested a beloved local 63 year-old janitor after receiving a false report from the local Subaru dealership that one of their cars was being used without authorization. Louis Searles, the janitor, sees the officers looking at a car outside the building where he works. He had observed the woman who was driving the vehicle, so he walked up to the officers and told then where the woman was (in a local business called "Thrive," which is in the building where he works as a janitor. Instead of going and locating that woman, they decided to violently arrest the janitor.

  2. racially profiled him
can the Subaru dealership get sued as well for the false police report that started this ?
if they acted within policy the chief of police needs to be sued as well for misconduct for a policy that violates constitutional rights

  3. Yet ANOTHER fine example prime example of why the cops make it so that we should just not deal with cops! The poor guy goes to try and help and what does he get? Then the department doubles down and let's the whole community know what they are in for. It's reasonable suspicion OF A CRIME having been, about to be, or to be committed. Not JUST reasonable suspicion. Jesus, what to do they actually teach these people at the academy? Really?

  4. They officers will say the crime is 'obstruction!" I know, we know that's bs.. but that's what the cops will use to, at minimum, try to detain or arrest the guy to hem him up in an attempt to get what they want. Sure the person will win in court but that's days weeks months later. In the here & now the person is put out. Yeah

  5. Huh?! I go to the Asheville, NC Police dept website only to find reviews are turned off and 0 reviews have been left prior. How does one redress their grievances with their government like this? Is this legal? Why would they not want the funeral citizens of their State & Country to leave reviews? I find that rather odd! My right to redress can be blocked or is limited to 'in-person?'

  6. BLACK PEOPLES………..*FOR THE LAST TIME DO NOT CONVERSE WITH ANY COP UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES* they are not your friends! Nor do they support your interests!! Stop talking to cops and calling the cops!

  7. Did the cops act appropriately? Uh, that would be a hell no. Common sense seems to be completely absent in almost all officers these days. They are feared and universally deceitful. We can’t even trust the FBI these days. Whoever thought that could become possible.

  8. I have the feeling that in the USA, they recruit individuals into the police force who are emotionally and socially behind others. These people, who have been bullied and mistreated during their childhood, now seek to join the police force to feel safe with a gun at their side, and in a way, to seek revenge on society for their past mistreatment.

  9. Wouldn't it be wonderful if this channel went away completely like the River Monsters TV show?
They ran out of giant fish in rivers, Ran Out of Content.
Unfortunately for American Justice and the American People, it doesn't look like we will be running out of bad cops breaking the law and violating the Constitution any time soon.
