They're just lying to get the signature. Officers don't learn law in the police academy just officer safety. That's why I received a BS degree before going to the academy with an extensive focus in constitutional law before going to the academy and being hired as an officer. The total lack of knowledge about the law is disturbing. That's why qualified immunity needs to be abolished and officers should have to carry insurance like doctors for malpractice.

The DA was in on it and probably the judge.. but the fact that the video was solid proof, the judge and DA were able to throw the officer under the bus, relieving themselves of any wrong doing as they were not in the video..and putting all blame on the officers 🤣🤣🤣 but u can bet ur sweet a** they covered for the officer and she is still trampling rights and due process to this day… 💯
This was 100% purposeful. They lied about the content and wouldn’t allow the signer to verify that’s what was in the sheet. Ignorance would be they hand it over and the attorney notified them they were mistaken.

Never talk to Cops. If they want to give you a document tell them to send it to your lawyer and you'll go to your lawyer's office and deal with it. This lady should have never answer the door she should have talks through the door and told them if they want a server with some papers or if she has a male to leave it at the door or the send it to her lawyer's office

I mean, ultimately the cops are not lawyers. And should not be relied upon to tell you what is a recent legal. They are simply there to respond to calls, arrest you if you're on hand or refer whatever evidence they have gathered to the district. Attorney 4 prosecution….. That's it, and if the evidence they gathered is not enough, then the district attorney will not push the case. On the other hand your lawyer can and will be available for any interactions between you and the state, the judge, the district attorney or The police
