So…. ever been pulled out and searched at a traffic stop?
The legislative system is too slow. Waiting for that will cost too many innocent people their lives. Why dont we just start using our 2nd amendment right to defend ourselves from impeding tyrants? Seems legal to me, if you understand supersedence.

Police crimes should be investigated by EXTERNAL AFFAIRS not INTERNAL AFFAIRS. Police officers should be accountable to the law and the citizens of the communities where they preside.

As a white man in the South, I've had way more negative interactions with cops of all races no matter how respectful or deferential I was. The more it happened that respect and deference turned to contempt and education. I came to understand they're not there for our benefit. I learned my rights and began asserting them and it's uncomfortable at first. It doesn't always mean losing your mind, cursing and yelling. Be calm, always ALWAYS RECORD THEM, and assert your rights. Pay attention to their words, you're not required to do them a favor or help them investigate you. Make them understand that the juice ain't worth the squeeze. The weird thing is once my hair turned completely gray they began to leave me alone 😆
71 yr old, white woman. Unfortunately, I tend to have a heavy foot, so I have been stopped several times through my life. Have NEVER been searched, much less, pulled out of my car. Not even sure I've been asking any "FISHING" questions.
Think we need to start asking officers if they have a FISHING LICENSE, instead of answering them.

The stop data is the stop data, I wouldn't read too much into it directly. The Search data however is more where the prejudice and officer corruption is more on display.
Looks like a Rodriguez v US violation. This officer keeps going on about things that do not pertain to the original purpose and scope of the stop and thus unduly lengthens the stop without probable cause. Penn v Mimms doesn't even come into play here after Rodriguez in my eyes. Yes Mimms says they can order people out of vehicles (for officer safety) but Rodriguez says they cannot unduly lengthen the stop therefore I would argue that ordering people out of the vehicle without probable cause is a violation under Rodriguez.

I’m wondering how much is actual police bias versus those who commit disproportionate amount of moving violations compared to their demographic. CT state police are accused of making fake stops to make it appear they’re not pulling over people of color. Standard CSP is post up on a turn around on the highway and do radar. Very rarely do they pull people over while they’re flowing with traffic.

2 times. plus squat team. did nothing wrong. coming from miami to orlando in the wrong vehicle. apparantly I had a vehicle model properly for doing runs. second time I wasnt angry enough so they had to keep searching for the nothing burger never found. hours of

Forcing a heavy hand enforcing arrests on traffic stops Yes it is done to an extent to find crime….. But it is generally speaking a way to bolster their arrest numbers to try and say look how bad the crime is getting
Perhaps some police have a need to KILL TIME in an otherwise slow day. So in a lot of instances they use blacks to make the their TIME on duty go by faster. So in essence, a traffic stop that would usually take from 15 to 25minutes is prolonged by asking unrelated and unnecessary questions will extend the TIME. In addition the cop (or cops) at the scene will use provoking tactics to give a fictitious reason to command the driver to exit the car, then that officer will create cause to roughly hand cuff said driver, then blatantly lie and accuse the driver of "resisting arrest, then more TIME is wasted by the officer due to having to wait for a tow to be dispatched. So there you go, two to three hours of TIME passes by on a (in reality) 25minute traffic stop. TIME killing pseudo law enforcement representatives on a mission to misuse the tax payers monies at the expense of decent citizen who just happens to be racially Black. 🧭.
These are not police officers they are a gang with badges. This BS has to stop.

1996- Houston, Texas (in the suburb of Webster) I got stopped for no seatbelt. A 44oz drink turned over in the passenger floor, I unbuckled the seatbelt to stand it back up right in time for a cop to see me. I got pulled over. Fine. But then a second cop showed up. They started hammering me with questions, where you going, where have you been etc etc. They got me out of the car handcuffed me and sat me on the curb which made feel like a piece of shyt, while they ransacked my car. I had just moved down there and was working as private security officer at NASA (not FOR nasa) guarding a one-off machine shop and design facility filled with actual "rocket scientists" that made space station parts in the Lockheed Martin building. Very high no-BS secure facility. You dont just "get" that job without being ran through the background gambit up one side and down the other. That didn't seem to matter to them. My car was an older 1981 Ford Mustang kinda beat up with Kansas plates. I still had some baggage in there, interior looked chaotic, but I was moving and had not unpacked completely because of back to back 12 hour shifts at my new job. I'm white, as honky as it gets. I must have appeared to be "white trash" I guess due to my car or some other reason.
If you were born with the last name Hit Ler, you would be harassed your entire life because of someone else's actions! This man can only blame those similar others that came before him.
