  1. I'm so sorry for the gentleman and his family, but this is so funny. It's the definition of racism. I don't get how anyone could justify this as anything but…

Bald white man ain't getting arrested on their front lawns because they look like someone from another state…

I'm so sorry for the family… and I really hope they got justice.. but this is so stupidly racist

  2. Well i dont understand why cops dont get a warrant. If you suspect its him then do a further investigation for chiefs sake! Now i can DEFINETLY see a resemblance by the two suspects in general, so i dont blame the cop for the mix up. But again that does not justify the cop to assault the man and demand ID. They are being trained by neo nazis in my opinion.

  3. Cop was just doing his job.
Blacks just love to act like victims even when the police are working to help.
If I was a cop I'd assume because of the guys demeanor he was suspect of something because why wouldn't he want to cooperate and clear things up instead of acting angry and pissed off over basically nothing?
Sure, the cops had the wrong guy but the cops aren't mind readers and you can't put your lens of the world on other people's eyes. Those pictures on a small screen in the afternoon daylight would look a lot the same whereas looking at the same photos in a light controlled indoor environment would make viewing of the pictures more accurate.
Granted, the cops could have gone about things differently but so could the black guy.
The cops should have said "The warrant is for ____ & I believe you're the guy. If you're not we'll clear this up just wait with me while we figure this out…" unless the guy is a violent felon then the cops acted appropriately in most every respect.
If it was me, I would just laugh, let the cops grab me and just tell them they have the wrong guy and if they don't let you go you'll strip them of their qualified immunity for doing such a piss poor job of investigating.
Sometimes it's better to just go with the flow and let stupid get you paid.
The black guy arguing and yelling just escalates the situation, he challenged the cops abilities and therefore their egos when he knew the cops were wrong and he had nothing to worry about other than how he was going to spend the cops retirement pension once he stripped the cop of his qualified immunity.
All he had to do was calmly state he was not the guy. Then he should have requested a supervisor. Then he should have again politely asked the cops to make sure they had the right person and then stood on his 5th and 4th amendment rights.
Since when has yelling and crying and fighting the cops ever helped?
The cop snatching the wallet was a bit much but the black guy escalated the situation when he didn't have to thus ensuring the officers overreaction.
I get it, the guy is smart and he saw a quick civil rights payday from some overeager cops…fair enough but stop playing the victim when you escalated every aspect of the police encounter ensuring maximum emotions and egos were at play.
Bravo, best affirmative action grift I've seen in a long time.
    👏

  4. This was reasonable, he was stopped under reasonable suspicion. As such they told him he looked like “xyz” they need his id. (Which is lawful) he refused where they are able to detain him, and he fought back which means he can be arrested regardless now.

  5. honestly they should of asked but if they did and u know people they wont give out id unless they feel like they need to so ya i can see them with holding info plus he rly did look alike just more clean looking. one from jail and u dont look ur best in jail…

  6. oke if a man is wanted and he looks like a wanted man the cops haw the right to ask for an id and detain him, cause if he is wanted its cuff and go but if he is not the wanted man then its cuff and release no need to be violent, yes i would be confused and ask them why m i getting detained but that is just my opinion.

  7. While I admit, there is a resemblance, the cop went about it all wrong and should be sued and fired. But since they love ruining lives, this mistake is par for the course for them and it's just another day of disrespecting citizens and their constitutional rights.
