A lawyer who works with cops on legal issues said that blocking the door as this cop does is an illegal seizure of property. Cop has taken away a person's ability to use their property. Door blocking by cops is considered a violation of the 4th amendment.

The other day cops showed up to my house to ask me questions about something going on in my apt complex, I have just gotten a ring camera and ( BTW my walls are very thin) I asked Alexa to show me the front door. Saw the cops and started talking to them through the speaker. They asked me so many times to come to the door and that they couldn't hear me 😂😂 I turned off the camera and turned up my music and they told me " you need to come to the door now and show I. D. For not helping with our investigation and we need to make sure it's just you in your apartment. To which I turned back on the microphone and started singing the Killers to them. They stood out their banging on my door and covering my camera for 15-20 minutes. As they were walking away I said " finally going to do your actual job 🎉" dumb. Ass. Cops. Get a cheap door camera. Talk to any cops who come to your home on that. Much much much easier.
