This cop has already been caught lying about the headlight was working and he should be instantly fired for proving cops often lie to stop someone.
This is just more proof of why you should never talk to the police. they will hold anything and everything against you. If this man actually said that his "light had issues in the past", he just gave them their probable cause.

Blatant violation. The cops training is probably less accurate than a k9 or a coinflip.
This is one bad cop .
40 to 50 hrs a week and 4 or 5yrs under the belt and still twisting words and throwing around accusations with no evidence I believe people know what they're "training" is all about (more target practice than anything else).

This was SHADY as hell!!! The predicate for the stop was a headlight that was NOT out. And if the Trooper REALLY suspected the subject was under the influence of drugs, why let him drive away? The fact is this was a retaliatory stop. Plain and simple. Maybe he should have TWO lawsuits going!

The cop says his dept is not criminals, but when the citizen says he's not a criminal the cop says he can't vouch for him. It's funny that the cop can vouch for his hole dept, and write a bs warning for a functional headlight.

Rodriguez vs United States 2015. A cop cannot prolong a stop to wait on a K9. If he has finished his business and has nothing left he has to let you go. Waiting for the K9 violates this case law
The bottom right light was dim according to the video. Although the stop shouldn’t have been prolonged.
I suspect San Angelo PD actually called DPS to have them check him out so they wouldn't look suspicious for harassing someone who is suing their Department.

I consider myself balanced as far as police activity and video doesn't lie. If the light is working which it clearly is the stop had no other reason then retaliation.
His imagination training didn't amount to anything, but what would you expect when you need 4-8x more training to become a licensed barber than a licensed cop.
In the 30 minutes he saw this guy in the parking lot he made a couple traffic stops. FIX THE TRAFFIC CODE. the road isn't meant to be a primary revenue source for the police.

No need to go to an eye doctor.. just go to a cop for eye exams..his pupils are small because it's dark and the cop is shining a bright light in his eyes .the cop needs to go back to eye school and learn how the eye works because there is no hope in learning the laws !!!
