DETAILS: https://thecivilrightslawyer.com/2024/09/03/rookie-cop-stops-the-final-boss-of-speeders-chaos-ensues/
This footage was circulating on X/Twitter, showing police in Longview, Texas arresting this guy just inside the front door of his home. The incident began as a traffic stop for speeding 10 mph over. The stop took place in the driveway of the home. The driver proceeds to be extremely aggressive towards the obviously-rookie officer. After a backup officer arrived, the young officer issues the citation for speeding. Then the man goes to walk inside the house, but the backup officer follows him and an arrest was made.

Such a petulant man child. Who acts like this?
Yooo 😮 that cop has great patience
This is awesome, reminds me of Full Metal Jacket Movie! So so funny!!
Look I believe republicans and Democrats are just two heads of the same serpent. But all you Trump supporters just know you vote Trump. Cops will have even more qualified immunity. He brags about it actually. I’m for we the people! Not either of those fake as$ demons.
Did he get a warrant over the radio or what?
hi guys…. he just said .. bald headed .. we know thats code for tyrant…lolololololol every time .. tone U.K.
You need to go have your left eye looked at, boss

@TheBattousai is this true about having to surrender your DL and insurance?
Originally, I sided with the cops on this one simply because I thought the guy was extremely unhinged and possibly a danger to himself or his family. However, after watching it several more times, I changed my mind. The guy had calmed down considerably by the then end. He was still pissed off but definitely more in control. The original officer put his gloves on in preparation for a confrontation but he took the gloves off after he gave the ticket so he had no plans to arrest him. It was the second cop that made that decision either on his own or by instruction over the radio. The stop was legally over after the ticket was given. I disagree that he needed to surrender his license and even if that was the case…too late to arrest him for that but they still might be able to ge`t him for disorderly conduct after the ticket.. I think the guy will have a hard time getting the judge or jury to side with him due to his attitude. He's going to look very bad in court. I think he could use some counseling to help manage the anger. It's not healthy to get that angry and it does make me concerned for his wife and kid with such poor people skills and such little self-control. I do applaud the cops for remaining calm through the incident but I can't condone the arrest, especially by following into the house, unless they had a warrant.
How come that guy can express himself freely and genuinely using profane language but YouTube won’t let me use that same language in the comment section?
So if "display" means surrender, the fact that you don't remove your license plates and surrender them means you are guilty of not displaying them?
If the statute doesn't define display as surrender, its statutory interpretation would go to the common meaning, which isn't "surrender".
The guy was apparently speeding and maybe should have saved the attitude for a day when he was pulled over for no valid reason! That said the arrest looked like retaliation and nothing more!
Upon receipt of the ticket the stop is over.
So this was back in May.. is there any info on this “warrant” the cop claims??
This driver probably needed to be arrested. He was immediately informed that he was speeding, and he immediately became belligerent??? Treat others as you would like to be treated……however after the cop wrote the citation, they needed to leave the property, unless they had probably cause of another crime being commited!!!
Search Gregg county arrest record for 4/18/24 see an arrest for a F.T Claud but the charges seem like it from this incident: issuing certificate to vehicle with non compliant or missing inspection, resisting arrest. I think he should sue.
And trying to justify it 😂😂😂😂 pathetic little boy's
Those police officers need to familiarize themselves with a 2021 U S Supreme Court case entitled Lange v California.
Yeah see lied, because he's upset with him ,, SO NO REASON 😤😤😤
That guy is going to get paid.
This fine individual could very well be a US Marine Corps drill instructor, he reminds me of R. Lee Ermey's role as Gunnery Sergeant Hartman in the 1987 film "Full Metal Jacket".
He’s the only guy I haven’t felt sorry for.
Billy Bob Thornton's little brother is pissed
These two need to loss there jobs. There plain and simple tyranny. They need to be held accountable for what they did. Make up a warrant for not corporations. What a lier they both are.
Hope he sues both of them.
This guy is definitely a former drill sergeant!
This guy is obviously an unhinged loose cannon. That said, it does not observe these police officers of making an illegal.
The first officer was putting on his gloves as he walked the ticket book up to the victim. Kind of like a poker 'tell', the blue gang puts on their gloves when they are getting ready to manhandle someone.
Well illegal arrest or not, acting like he did isn't going to do him any favours in front of a judge and/or jury. It's a bit like the 'he had it coming' defence in civil rights law suits, he lives in the real world with real peers that have different opinions of what is considered reasonable behaviour and he'll likely pay the price for that.
Just like a jury could find someone not guilty because they think the law is unjust, they can find him guilty because he's an asshole.
This guy was to over the top.Nut case. The warrant was BS.They should know the stop is over after they give him the ticket.
I love this guy. all the cop had to do was move his car but he DGAS about the mans wife.
Display meaning show or exhibit not hand over seams very clear just the same as putting in the window as long as they can read the information i was always told you look with your eyes not your hands
Damn he was MAD mad
It sounded like the officer said the warrant was for evading. The man asked evading what? The officer said "evading me." I think the man was arrested for being a strong advocate of freedom of speech. If so, the charges will be dropped. The cops here were just sending a message, "we do not care about your rights"
Contempt of cop is one thing, being a complete dumbass is another. Stay calm, ask/tell him to maybe park elsewhere, present what you have to, that would be a far better option.
And funny how after all these years many things are not always clear, having to find multiple things in multiple places, you'd think it might be an idea to make a law more clear with different wording.
To display is the same as handing over ? You wouldn't normally think so. And then there is the difference with so many courts stating things differently, which also remains weird to me if you're basically one country, but what the hell.
But he got his ticket, they were done, he told them to leave, then he went inside, they had to leave, what right did they have to go inside of his house ? If they wanted him for obstruction, then they were already too late.
He was an idiot acting like that and not showing his ID, but, this is bullshit, they were done.
So unless they suddenly heard he had a warrant, they had no right to do this ?
Ah, see him asking what the warrant is for. If you have a warrant out for you, acting like such a dumbass is really stupid.
Evading him ? Excuse me ? He stopped him there, hadn't sad anything about evading or anything, so that smells like bullshit.
Yes, he was being a moron, also, smells like contempt of cop.
They maybe could have gotten him for not displaying his stuff, but as soon as the ticket is signed and everything is handed over, it's done. Didn't hear anything about a warrant being out or anything that would apply here.
If the evading was from an earlier warrant, it was a good arrest. If it was for evading on that stop, It was an illegal arrest. IMO
This may not be the best way to handle an interaction with an LEO. Citizens have been shot for much less than this.
I love this dude!
"Take it from me then boy if you think you're fuckin bad ass about it!"🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
This guy is awesome 😅
John's bleep editor earned his pay today!!!!
That cop knew he was going to arrest him before he handed him the citation. I say that because her put his gloves on as he was walking up to give him the citation. I did think I head the guy ask "What's the warrant for?". And the cops said "Evading".
If I said ANY of that, I would be dead.
Criminal trespass, invasion, assault, false arrest, false imprisonment, bruised ego, etc
Those public servants got their egos hurt cause he wouldn’t give them their ID fix and redressed them for being cowards they never said anything until he stepped inside
i dont care what anyone says, this guy was a dick for absolutely no reason 😂 he broke the law, could of been simple as a ticket. he acted aggressively and like an absolute bellend ..
lets face facts, if he had been black the outcome would of been a lot different
