You know I was reading Stryker v home wood from Alabama and the cops beat the brakes off a truck driver in a wal mart parking lot after a woman claimed he had side swiped her car. Like beat him so bad it broke his jaw and fucked his back up . My issue with them dismissing the case giving the cop immunity was that truck driver didn't have protection from excessive force because he didn't specifically state the excessive force from which he thought he had protection from ….or some stupid shit like that but my issue is with the word EXCESSIVE period. Just like sotomayor said "when is excessive force ever ok for any agency to use or when it can be justified" in my opinion even if you shoot and kill someone and it's justified then it's reasonable force …so in NO CIRCUMSTANCE should any conduct deemed excessive BE JUSTIFIED OR PROTECTED EVER!?!..right?!?
And this case is even more jacked cause the guy was a Turkish man but he was an American citizen and was snitched out by a guy who owns a hotel called the ….get this…."Smugglers Inn" he harbored illegals and snitched on them at the same time ….and this is on the CANADIAN border not the Mexican border ….so due to a tip from the snitch hotel owner they invaded the man's room and detained him and kicked his ass…BUT HE WAS AN AMERICAN CITZEN NOT AN ILLEGAL he just happened to be of Turkish decent ….
