The absolute incompetence never ceases to amaze me , this poor soul just needed some help. Maybe just someone to talk to ,someone to hangout with. Mental health is a serious issue really needs addressed. Most police don’t even have a working understanding of the law little less how to deal with people.
This deputy needs to be relieved of duty and never allowed to work in LE again.

This encounter is prime example of the fact Police are Ill equipped to deal with social issues and should have a trained social worker on shift with them at all times. Not necessarily in the units but at minimum at the station on call. The deputy has no excuse for his behavior regardless. The first officer seemed to completely understand the guy was having a mental episode and was fine until they were onsite. As others have stated we need third party review by citizens on a regular basis. Just as we have jury duty we could have voluntary duty to review police interactions. Solutions do exist

Hey everybody coming in if you wish but I have two things. I would like to make police offers do across this country and try to get a petition made up first thing is body cam footage it should not be able to be edited for shut-off in anyway when the cops are recording it should be loaded up to a cloud then it should go before a review board which has civilians and law enforcement together this footage gets edited too much it's not right and turned off also the resisting arrest charge I've been studying police officers for over a year now and one thing I've learned there is a buddy system that they do to get resisting the police officer that is putting the handcuffs on will be pulling the suspect one way the responding officer or partner will grab the person and pull them the other way so each officers are pulling the opposite way what is that caused it causes them to say that they have a suspect that is resisting arrest and they do this time after time almost on every video I've watched on YouTube and on other platforms go ahead and watch guys and I guarantee you'll see the same thing happen and then the third will jump on your legs while they're beating the shit out of you up top and tazing you and your legs are kicking around so what did they do they say you're trying to kick them so they can hog-tie you and beat you up worse it is a bad broken system and go ahead and watch guys some rest you'll see exactly what I'm talking about just need to change to!

Took me some time, but the cop with the taser is Lt. Patrick Vicari of Knightstown. He has several excess force complaints against him.
You can hear in the video how he brags about not having a body camera. That's his thing. He's learned he can do whatever he wants, lie about it, and it he gets caught, he just lies some more.

See it's not just the cops that are crooked it's the prosecutors as well. How can anyone with a brain in their head look at these videos and say with a straight face that there was no excessive force used and that these cops did nothing wrong? What is it with American law enforcement officers and any person who happens to be going through a mental health crisis. Are these animals just not trained, although human decency shouldn’t need to be learned when dealing with a mental health crisis. Too many people are tortured, beaten and even killed by law enforcement officers when all they’re after is help to get through the current crisis situation and that’s not acceptable and shouldn’t be accepted by any decent society

This is such a strange case, we need to look at these Officers training.
When an Officer is opening the impact case with the field breath device, there should be a second Officer with gloves on the scene. I'm sure the instructions for the device require gloves to be worn.
