By no means are cops concerned with our safety. They are more concerned with getting a notch in their gun for an arrest. This is a classic example of how that goal turns an innocent person into a criminal and they just don't care.

Does that state law actually state pedestrians "should" walk on the left side of the road? When I was writing state documents a legal directive usually said "shall". Of course an expensive lawyer could toss "should" around any way they like. So, is that a jaywalking offense? I imagine some ticket at best, but then an officer can claim "obstruction", then "resisting". Officers that really enjoy being criminal thugs themselves will arrest and hope you "tense up" so they can beat the hell out of you.

I am at a loss for words with this video. The wasted taxpayer dollars spent with this entire stop should be pulled from both of those officers' paychecks. That petty stop probably had that stupid rookie doing processing and paperwork for 2-3 hours. So instead of stopping actual crime he was wasting valuable resources on a person "standing in the wrong spot". The trust we gave officers over the years has been so abused that we are no longer citizens but subjects.
