In October of 2024, Monroe County (Florida) Deputy Jonathon Lane pulled over a dad/husband who was hauling a boat too slowly. The driver had previously suffered from a traumatic brain injury (TBI). Deputy Lane immediately escalated the situation to a felony arrest of the driver, afterwards lecturing the man’s wife about his integrity and the importance of following the law. But as it turns out, Deputy Jonathon Lane his a “confidential” past that exposes his own law-breaking, as well as his department’s apparent coverup of that law-breaking.

  2. A sadist playing the arrest numbers to justify his departments government grants. This all comes from.the USA corporate for profit structure. And hiring Sociopaths.

  3. Wow on seeing the end of this video yes the brain damaged guy should have all his charges thrown out & wiped from where ever they are kept. He should not have been driving that cop car to police anyone. Lets see if the law defends the people as it should, i strongly doubt it. But keep up the great work as i love your videos.

  4. The officer is a callous liar. Why did the officer open the car door and was it legal. The officer when asked by the wife if he could change his statement he said he would only perjure himself for a friend, so much for truth.

  5. Mims has to go. There was no reason to have this guy step out of the car, as usual there isn't. It just gives them excuses to escalate a situation into a crime. This guy should be in prison not wearing a gun and a badge prancing around with full authority of the government.

  6. The cop could easily have shown a lot of discretion here when he learned of the brain injury & could have just given him a warning but like most cops they will never do that. It really does seem like they want everyone to go to court. & im so glad they caught this cop drunk & asleep in his truck, but again it shows American cop corruption when its hidden from everyone. I think American cops are the worst in the western world. They are 100 times worse than British cops & ours are bad enough.

  7. Officer, just so you know, almost 1/4 million Americans, and potential jurors and voters are watching this video!!
it sure seems you have crapped all over yourself.
Supervisors and prosecutors, are you now going down to protect a rouge cop?
Protecting this bad cop makes all cops involved bad cops!

  8. Depty is wound WAY too tight for police work. He escalated a simple traffic stop because he isn't observant and has no sympathy for others. He's also a cntrl freak because he constantly interrupted people conveying important info about the subject's brain injury. He should be banned from LawEnf in the USA.

  9. 1989 SCOTUS ruled the police are not for us. While police often use the motto "to protect and serve," there's no federal law requiring them to do so in a way that creates a legal obligation to protect individual citizens from harm. This concept is rooted in the public duty doctrine, which states that government officials generally owe a duty of care to the public as a whole, not to individual members.

It's all a scam. Propaganda to HONOR THE BLUE. They are there for themselves just like politicians.

  10. What a horrible "peace officer"
    Must be a Dei hire,
    On a power trip.
    Horrible dumb move,
And obviously, the cop cant read body language.
    Should of never been hire.
    Idiot on power trip.

Feel sorry for the disabled man!

  11. Sounds like Monroe County Florida cares alot about transparency. Officer Drunken drugged Arrest behind the wheel CONFIDENTIAL because the public deserves their arrest be known to the public but arrest of an officer is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!! Oh yeah charges against this INNOCENT man are also None of your business. OUTRAGEOUS

  12. Not featured, the information the officer had prior to the incident from the boating club that the driver was belligerent. Glad that didn't make the cut. Doesn't fit the audience, I get it.

  13. I normally agree with you in all of your videos. But in this one im not fully with you. First of all both the husband & wife are to blame for this problem they have. Her husband suffered a brain injury & if that has affected him so much why is he driving. He is a danger to everyone on the rd. & even here in the UK if you drive at 15mph in a 30mph rd without an excellent reason, & a brain injury is not an excellent reason. She should have been driving their vehicle. But yes after & excluding that the cop did way over react to this. But to be fair thats exactly what most of American cops are like.

  14. Thank you for covering this case! I saw full clip just yesterday and the driver reminded me so much of someone I knew with a TBI and it sickened me to see how he was treated. I hope he gets justice for how this went down and more people learn about this despicable officer. Looking forward to the next part you post.

  15. His shameless attempt to make himself appear empathetic is sickening. "Ohh I'm soo sorry…" no you're not! Made all of it up, then doubles down on his lies. I hope they sue him on top of his own legal troubles.
