She was brandishing a deadly weapon and went after her boyfriend with knife in hand, while being belligerent… what were the cops supposed to do? Wait for her to stand before they acted?
Look at the officers position the woman was holding a knife. Went to the living room where the man she was having issues with. And what the video doesn't show is she grabbed him with her other hand. Also the Taser would not have worked at that distance. So his options were limited. It was either use your words and risk someone getting stabbed or shoot the person with a knife
