I'm so sick of hearing "I don't feel comfortable" "I don't know what's in your car" "officer safety" as excuses for 4th amendment violations.
It is not the job of civilians to make sure you feel comfortable, the job has inherent risks and they know that when they sign up.
I don't know what's in the pocket of the guy standing behind me in line, the dude could be mentally ill and about to stab me to death because he's annoyed at the wait, but that doesn't give me or anyone the right to demand he let me cuff and search him.
I don't even know that people who purport to be cops are even real cops! You see all the time people getting carjacked, abducted or killed by criminals who dress up as police, so what about public safety???

Why do officers think they can just randomly throw around "disturbing the peace" and "disorderly conducted" as catch all offenses that allow them to arrest anyone for any words said? Cops can not be a complaining party in either offense, and the person's family never is complaining about their conduct prior to the cops arresting people. Fucking cops are so damned fragile. Then they use a lie to illegally search the car. Wow, hope they win big against these tyrants.
