Update on My Creepy Cops Search Case of Putnam County WV

To see footage of police officers secretly inside someone’s home, where there’s no criminal investigation, or even charges, and where there’s no legal justification, is scary.

I get asked all the time for an update on the Creepy Cops Search case out of Putnam County, West Virginia, where plain-clothes police officers from the sheriff’s department’s “Special Enforcement Unit” were caught on hidden camera literally breaking into my client’s home, sneaking in through the window, searching the inside of the house for non-existent drugs.

  1. West Virginia law enforcement from what I've seen for the past year is the most corrupt state in the Union. How can there be any law enforcement in West Virginia? I don't understand how they can continue to get away with this. From the state police to the local law enforcement everyone is corrupt. When do the people have enough and start shooting back?

  2. So criminal like it's okay to just walk in as if the KKK PINK FACED EUROPEAN KLAN GANG FORCE have rights to looking at your property. Did they THIEVE ANYTHING. That's FKED up. SUE SUE SUE. PROSECUTE PROSECUTE PROSECUTE. These MAFIA CRIMINALS COMMITTING these ACTS of CRIMES.

  3. I, like so many other people, have a mostly negative opinion towards lawyers in this country. Viewed as part of that mindless, emotionless machine that the juridical system seems to have morphed into. But it's people like this man here, that actually thaws a few cogs of that machine. And although it may seem like a drop in the ocean, it shows that there's still good people in the system.

  4. These cops are nothing more than gangbangers. In fact, they're worse than any criminal, since they're totalitarians eliminating what little is left of American freedom.

  5. It is very hard for me to get my head around the fact this happened in the U.S. and in modern times. It seems so basic a right. For them to violate this, it makes me wonder about their "raising". Maybe in Nazi Germany?

  6. Lucky the guy wasn't home and thought they were intruders because I don't know about you guys. If I seen two guys in plain clothing, with guns, who didn't announce their presence, and broke into my home. They'd be getting lit up

  7. The fact that police feel this kind of thing is acceptable is sickening.

There is not much difference IMO when our communications are intercepted and reviewed WO a warrant.

In NJ several local PD have the portable stingrays and dirt boxes that enable the theft of our communications..

Technology is a slippery slope. I don't think license plate scanners are ok by me. Sept 11 was used to militarize local PDs and subsequently terrorize the citizens.

  8. These cops have never done this to anyone before this video. 🙄I saw a confederate flag hanging in the background. As much as I disagree with those who fly that racist symbol I 100% am on his side in this case. The cops should be locked up in general population with no protective custody.
