  1. If you ask me this is reckless driving. They do this crap in a crowded intersection and bystanders get hurt all the time. I have to side with the cops on this one.

  2. The fact that there was a citizen between the two cars seems to me to be problematic.

The risk to the citizen's life seems like a risk that was at a minimum, to be unwise.

    Abolish qualified immunity
    And the DEA.

  3. Looks good to me. Sometimes the police do need to use force. The problem is that most of them are too stupid and hateful toward the public to know when it's OK and when it's not. This was a lucky guess.

  4. Frightening to think there are people out there who think you have a constitutional right to shut down public roads and tear it up to your hearts content. Doesn’t democracy presuppose that most people possess at least functioning intelligence?

  5. So is it reasonable for Arkansas SP to perform PIT maneuvers at over 100 MPH on a regular basis? There are videos of this all over YouTube. Seems like a death sentence

  6. im the first guy to say throw the book at the cop when they screw up, but in this case, im 100% okay with what was done by the cop. he used the cruiser to stop a dangerous event, and try to prevent the perps from fleeing.

  7. Poor coverage on a matter which is firstly a subjudice nature. 1. Events such as these in any jurisdiction are fraught with inherent risks to any and all participants. 2. By the footage provided there are questions as to what happened. Reliance on the 4th amendment and support of those committing serious offenses and claiming or guessing at what actually happened is a most dangerous position to make your claims. Further the information provided may be considered as criminally misleading and encouragement to many others to commit serious crimes by their actions as well as support for innocent people who may not appreciate the significant risk to them at in these situation. Simply blogging your views through your channel as shown in this instance is subjective and reckless disregard for the safety of society. Further should objective judicial review of all circumstances find the actions of the officers albeit with conflict have been justifiable. It is doubted that from your position you would be able to accept truth but instead simply prefer to a conjectural approach to matters by your subjective views.
Oh.. And one last thing. If people wish to engage in the exhibition spin outs and similar dumb behaviour there are numerous places, safety measures that can be very quickly and easily set up as well as proper regard for all citizens rights to use their roads for ALL citizens constitutional and human rights. Wake up. If you do have a degree in law it certainly raises the question in these plods as to whether you were any good as to earn a degree or properly interpret the law.
One could like to see you on the defense table when a competent prosecutor prosecutes matters like this.

  8. This isn't different than crotch rockets taking control of the road and inturuppting (sp?) traffic.

That said, why not open up abandoned parking lots and such, for exhibition. Everyone that enters the property MUST sign a release that they know of dangers and take responsibility.

  9. They should have done this on a private street. I mean they got caught. Cop lights and they tried to get away. Guess what people get hurt and cars get wrecked. Sad really. Just pull over collect your tickets and hire a lawyer to get off.

  10. This is my city. The officer’s niece was in that charger. He was emotionally driven bcus he told her about the crackdown on “take overs” and warned her about the aggressiveness they were goin to implement. Every time Birmingham builds something new like our new skate park they tear it up with takeovers.

  11. If the civilian car had rammed the police cruiser it would have been considered deadly force and police would have responded accordingly. Why is it not considered deadly force when the cop does it?

  12. Those cars are so incredibly dangerous and the people treat them like toys. People get killed and seriously injured frequently from their behavior. I'm gonna go ahead and side with the police on this one and think even if the driver himself was critically injured or killed the police would not have been out of line and stopping it.

  13. Any unreasonable could see that they intended to run the officer over. In other news, the righteous government will outlaw all natural gas stoves for your public comfort. Can I get a "Wull Yeaaah"?

  14. Why isn't there a zero tolerance policy in every city and law enforcement dept in the country to dispense severe life altering penalties with every civil rights violation! NOT giving the administrators, judges or prosecuting attorneys ANY discretion in the matter, WHATSOEVER! If cops and public servants are this stupid, even one time, they should never have been hired OR elected. Leave NO out or leniency for these corrupt, stupid offenders!! This whole Blue line cop gang thing reminds us of the cops cowering in the hallway at Uvalde when 19 babies were slaughtered along with two teachers. These guys have the same mentality and are worried ONLY about cop safety!(Top 25 MOST dangerous jobs in the USA: #5 is crossing guards and #25 are cops) more than public safety and at $100+ grand a year they should have higher priorities, pass psychological Testing and try to locate a moral compass!🐷

  15. If the case is about ramming the vehicle I think its the wrong case. 100% if a vehicle is driving recklessly and is potentially endangering people near the road (which he is and can EASILY lose control cause serious injury to pedestrians or other drivers) then YES, they SHOULD be able to ram a vehicle to stop it. BUT…. they should NOT be able to ram a PEDESTRIAN which is ABSOLUTELY what they did.

  16. There is NO freedom on display here.
Gross Interference is on display for all by the camera man for encouraging and directing flight, the man on foot putting himself between the cars, and the second private driver putting his vehicle between the subject cars.
Morally, counsel should walk away from all those cited at those intersection takeovers and similar improper uses of roadway. I say this because that is why private racetracks open up and offer the use of closed facilities for this "behavior". Seems like bee ell emm should try to defend these here.

  17. Gotta call it as I see it.
Rare for me to say, but I have ZERO problems with the police action that I saw here. PC was dropped in their laps and an easy case can be made for ramming the car to prevent uninvolved innocents from being hurt.
