I don't understand regarding a warrant. For the Texas man the police had a warrant for some matter and they forced their way into his home and said "We have a warrant." Is there a difference in warrants? I thought a judge has to issue a warrant to allow cops to enter a home to arrest a person. Does any warrant allow police to enter a person's home?

Look this is wrong . They are wrong. But all police officers are not like this. I was an officer . One bad cop (encountered when I was a juvenile) was the reason I became an officer. Please don't group all cops in the same category.

If he drew his gun and chose to shoot them for failing to leave when told, does he get charged for protecting his home and his utilizing his constitutionally protected rights?

If you can be trespassed from one Walmart and it’s effective nation wide then cops shouldn’t be able to apply at other agencies.
This boils my blood more than any other right they always violate. The foot in the door so you cant close it and then if you open the door (instead of leaving it locked and speaking to them thru the door) the come in and grab you or reach in and pull you out! That crap make me absolutely furious every.single.time!!! Idk why they get away with it. Cannot break the threshold period! No matter what your little ego wants! Do your job right! Do NOT… I repeat… Do NOT allow cops to enter your home!!! Unless there's an actual emergency or they have a warrant! Far too many of them are simply on the look out for even a hint of crime so, unfortunately, they are working against us!
I have instructed my children, do not answer the door for the Police, unless you called them. If you call 911, report a fire. Paramedics save lives. Police incarcerate. A criminal will run from a fire truck just like a police car.
