🤣🤣🤣
It was at this moment he realized he left the oven on after baking a batch of cookies.
"You do have a driver's license," "I was about to cut y'all loose." So why not cut him loose after cuffing him? Teaches him a lesson on running, but also lets them rejoin society instead of remaining on the fringe. Now the dude has another reason to go do drugs or whatever it is he does, and another reason not to work and be productive.
But nope, when cop says "I was only trying to help" he was actually only being kind because it makes his job easier. Cop wanted the dude to drive because otherwise he'd have to sit around 20 minutes for a tow truck while also watching two angry strangers.
I thought this officer was pretty cool but he's just a little lazy
If he didn't have a warrant, how they charge him for fleeing????
He never told him to stop😂 how can he be fleeing
So he has no warrants and just goes for a jog and boom arrested for what? Ah it was all a lie.
I ain’t running, he just ain’t getting nothing
A box of rocks is smarter than this guy!!
That cop chose not to run after him 😂
If he was good to go, was he not free to take a jog?
Fleeing from what?? Him asking him to drive the car?!?!
Since the cop stated on the video evidence. The guy running was okay and free to go, but then he gets butthurt and needs to have people respect his authority.
“Gosh Dang” 😂
So he wasn't going to arrest him in the first place..he takes off running and the cop decided to chase him down and arrest him for staying around to not be arrested in the first place…sounds like cop logic
It started out hilarious. But it ended with just another reason to hate the police.
Cops can ask the passenger for his ID but he is in no way obligated to give it up.
At least he had enough time to ditch the drugs before he got arrested
Ok the officer threatened him with bodily harm when he wasn't resisting. Isn't that illegal? Cops arent allowed to just knock you out for no reason are they? Cop should be held responsible for making threats. Any civilian would be arrested for that
The answer is no.
hahaha the cop just talk and does not notice for 20 sec that the guy is running.
JOHN JUST A BUNCH OF BULL SHIT THAT INNOCENT PASSENGERS HAVE TO ID WITH NO RAS,JUST A FISHING EXPEDITION!
He doesn't have a WARRANT yet he was arrested for fleeing? Well I am saying that he was fleeing for his own safety from police brutality. He was actually in fear for his life.
Autopsy reports says DEATH BY POLICE. Now on the other hand, I once hired a chauffeur driven super stretched limousine in New York City. It was fully decked out including a passenger bar and snacks. We were stopped by the police. They know that a car with T&LC license plates is a hired car such as a limousine. The police asked the driver for his license and registration and insurance information. Then he asked me for exactly the same thing. Well I can't post exactly what I said to those police officers. But they insisted on asking me for the same thing that they asked the chauffeur. I gave them my lawyers business card. My lawyer is a specialist in Constitutional Law. The police said to us "you are free to go." My chauffeur said that was the first time that the police asked a passenger for license and registration and insurance.
I smiled and said "Artie, what is the color of my skin?" And I smiled.
To me it seems like the state trooper just messed up big time
If he was good to go why bother to chase him
So, by the same token, cops should be able to check passengers in cars near the southern border to see if they are illegals.
This is a rare moment where I feel for the cop, fuck man dude fucked up.
Sorry but this was funny 😂
My understanding of case law that passengers can only be ID if there is reasonable suspicion and is related to the traffic stop.
So if a bus is speeding and gets pulled the cop can id everyone onboard?
Kind of stupid, the cop didn’t want to do anything about the warrants but takes him for running away for no reason.
Cops can legally lie to us… so why should "the passenger" believe that the cop is being truthful after being told to step out of the car, then being told "you're okay".
I would like to know your take on a like event if it took place in Oklahoma?
Guy runs from a cop who is not chasing him. This is your brain on drugs.
Im just wondering can you bring someone to help you in a case even if that person is not a lawyer and you are defending your self without a lawyer
I would have at least made the tree line, and I'm an amputee.
Why would a paragon of virtue choose to be vindictive?
Its illegal to walk for a jog?
Wait, can you be arrested for fleeing? Are the passengers in a car detained if the car get pulled over? Or can the passengers get out and walk away?
How can you get arrested for good faith im in good faith i didnt break the law so that makes no sence the cop should know the law they are arresting you for
My dad was running a handy-man service after he retired and so I got him a Dremel. He said it was one of those things you don't know you need until you have it.
Then it got stolen.
If you're a passenger in a car why would you not have the same protections you would have if you were a pedestrian? From what I understand police cannot force you to ID without a good, articulable reason.
How does it work if you're a passenger in a taxi? An Uber? A bus? Are the rules different? If so, why?
If he's good then why are you chasing him
Dicks gotta be dicks and pigs gotta be pigs. One and the same.
