Woman Lies, Innocent Man Arrested, 47 DAYS in Jail – LAWSUIT

This man goes into a Walmart to buy his elderly mother some over-the-counter arthritis medication. Meanwhile, this woman is riding around on a mobility scooter, even though she’s not disabled. Her kids are literally hanging off it as she puts around the store. The man can’t find what he’s looking for, so when he sees this woman, he asks her if she knows where he can find it. Then, all hell breaks loose. The man, “Mick” Patel, ends up spending 47 days in jail over what were obviously-false accusations (and as it turns out, this may not have been her first time). A lawsuit was just filed. I got the chance to speak to his civil rights attorneys.

  1. She sounds mentally disturbed , or she is a really nasty , evil woman . But what is the excuse of the cops and the prosecutor that filed charges after they watched the video , ?Without a doubt , they watched the video and knew that her story was a complete lie . So disturbing that they still have their jobs ,and will do something ridiculous like this again .

  2. Why didn't they want the footage to be shown? Simple, because they knew it would prove them wrong & they couldn't have that happening as in their minds the truth must never be known or accepted by people with the power to truly act on that information. As for the lady she definitely needs to go to jail for her behavior, especially since it's not her first time doing it, and she'll more than likely do it again if she keeps getting away with it.

  3. More proof that the Police Department and the Prosecution are not representatives of Law and Order but the exact opposite, they will prosecute anybody to keep the crooked money rolling in.
When interviewed the woman did not appear upset and at the scene on camera appeared drunk by crashing the mobility vehicle. Was she on Meds.
Police Officers and Prosecution need a lengthy jail sentence and that is a must.

  4. John Bryan, you are doing an absolutely marvelous job in exposing the corrupt cops and prosecutors. God bless you.
The D.A. and cops in this case deserve the most severe punishment for willfully trying to ruin the life of an innocent man.

  5. Someone should call child services on the woman endangering her babies riding around on that scooter with baby hanging off her lap. See how she likes it, except it would be the truth where hers is a lie……

And the prosecutor, she should be banned from ever prosecuting cases again because she is clearly not impartial, she wants accolades and “big cases” even if they false. And temperence stoddard…. She should be banned from prosecutors office too…… she PURPOSELY didnt play the video so she could say whatever she wanted.

  6. Prosecutors and judges and most cops need to be replaced like most of the government! This woman should be in jail for the next 2 years minimum for trying to ruin this man’s life! Hate these kinds of vile demonic women

  7. I work in mental health in Australia, and the phone thing reminded me of a client I had about 5-6 years ago. He was having an affair with a wealthy married woman and, as they lived on opposite sides of the country, they weren’t able to meet in person very often so they would send each other nude pics and videos. When she was caught by her husband she lied and said my client was blackmailing her to send the nudes and money. Plus, she was from a certain background, and claimed he had put her at risk of honour-based violence.

My client was charged by police and refused bail due to the seriousness of the charges and spent the next 12 months in jail. During this time as police investigated, it became obvious that she was lying. They found he had been sending pics and videos to her as well, at her request. They also found that she had been lying about her husband beating her up and not giving her money for shopping and that she couldn’t by food for the children, so he would send her money for shopping – overall he had sent over $50,000 during previous two years.

When the truth began being revealed, do you think the police immediately worked to free my client and bring charges against the woman for false allegations? No, at first, they had actually tried to keep my client’s legal team from seeing some of the information that exonerated him. To be honest I think his own lawyers doubted him at first as they weren’t initially pushing to see the information.

When their case fell apart, rather than admit fault and move on, they searched all of his electronic devices. On an old laptop he hadn’t used in years they found one image of a child that was sent to him on social media. The app showed that he had clearly told the person to “never send garbage like that to me again” and deleted both the picture and the contact.

Unbeknownst to my client, the picture lived on in the deleted items folder of the app. So, police charged him with it. They just had to find something rather than admit they had charged and jailed him on remand before bothering to conduct even a brief investigation. The judge did have some sympathy but said given it was on the laptop so he had no option to convict but the punishment was a small fine, though he was highly critical of police overall. This man had to sell an investment property to fund his legal defence. It was atrocious behaviour by the police.

  8. That woman has a history of making false reports, too, so I really do NOT understand why she wasn't arrested. And on top of that, she was endangering her children because they wanted to ride on the scooter.

  9. The cop who claimed to have watched the video and then formally stated that it supported the liar's allegations should be asked if he has any sort personal connection with Caroline Miller. Seems to me that either he lied about watching the video, there's something seriously wrong with his ability to understand what he observes happening in a video, or he's pandering to this young, blonde, reasonably attractive woman.

  10. OMG what trash of women to such diabolical thing to an elderly man & the Lyft driver. They need to sue her & the police department!! That low vibing scum needs prison time. WTF is wrong with these parasites & these police departments needs to fire everyone involved that didn't do their Job sickening!!!!! Go GET THEM!!!!

  11. OK, so who did he piss off? It's one thing for this crazy woman to make up a story, but it's a whole other thing for the prosecutors to lie to a grand jury. He has either pissed someone off, or someone stands to benefit if he goes to jail. Id start by looking at his finances, especially property ownership, neighbours etc etc.
