Many of my viewers from around the country sent me this viral Facebook post by the wife of an elderly, disabled military veteran (with severe type 2 diabetes) about three police officers abusing him in front of their home in St. Mary’s West Virginia. After she reached out to me, yesterday I drove 3 and a half hours up to the location of the incident to investigate the scene myself. Frankly, I’m shocked by what’s happening up there, and they can’t be allowed to get away with it.

There’s a difference between good police officers and those who abuse their power. These pigs attacked an elderly man without cause and are now trying to intimidate people into not taking legal action. I hope you take on his case and ensure that justice is served.
Why do cities only offer legal problems to get a yard cleaned up? Why not offer help?
These cops are some of the most evil yet protected people on the planet. This mindset people have that we need to protect these officers at all costs, just needs to stop, and accountability needs to take over. I actually believe it would improve policing if these bad cops stopped receiving all this protection and were actually held accountable and weeded out these departments. But this is no longer a few low level rotton apples. This is from the top down, It is getting systemic and out of control.

Having folks like Barry give the town personality and it says there is freedom here. It's like having a homeless veteran guy with his cute friendly dog that everyone in the town loves, it gives the town character. Not sure this town can afford the potential fallout that's coming. Not without good leadership. I get the feeling the BWC footage will never see the light of day. There will be "technical difficulties", "accidental" erasure, "faulty" gear or "forgot" to turn it on. I like my odds. Maybe there's bank footage but that might disappear too.
