Arrested for Wearing Body Armor in Public (but it’s not illegal)

This guy got arrested at a Christmas parade in Florida for wearing a body armor vest concealed under his shirt. The problem is, that wasn’t illegal. I saw this in the news, with cops taking a victory lap and Karens rejoicing about it, so I put in a request for the footage, and just got it. And it’s worse than I even thought it would be. Lawful conduct does not become illegal just because police officers – or Karens – are afraid of something. My rights don’t end where your fear of some perfectly legal object begins.

  1. Clearly you're not allowed to protect yourself and that's the state's job!!!
Big Brother's always watching and even though you may die whoever did it to you will be caught and that should make you feel happy while you're dead!!!

  2. Donuts are soft and round with no sharp edges for “ OFFICER SAFETY”…However, “WE GOT A CALL” and need to “MAKE CONTACT” and “GET I.D.” in order to “FURTHER OUR INVESTIGATION” into the lethality of bear claws and sprinkles.

  3. He fears for his life because he worked with the cops as an informant. Now he has to fear for his life from the cops for trying to protect his life from the people he 'informed' on. Is there a lesson? Maybe don't get caught in the middle.

  4. So whats cops excuse when they put it on everyday for work? Are they too scared to go out in public too? Why are they scared. Sue that dept. That sheriff just costed that city big time.

  5. the detective footage is damning, these are traitors to the constitution. no better than the rats in Minnesota.
they don't want us to carry guns.
how we have fallen… let too many rats in, now everyone is a suspect.
mass deportation is needed. then we can hang these traitors.
this is honestly so heinous… cant wear body armor AND carry a gun? it offends the senses.
this should have just been a stop and talk… identify this 'american' that reported this 'heinous' behavior… of walking the same path of congressman whatshisname

  6. I think everything was reasonable i suppose until they got info about his purpose and verified with his parents, but them keeping his property that is unreasonable and unjustified he best sue them for theft.

  7. Not sure if I'm high enough for this.

This fella received threats. Cops are (statistically) far less threatened than pizza delivery people. Safety is for only cops?

"Up to no good" after hearing that only from the press…

    This is the worst timeline.
