Bad Cop Forced to Apologize | $80,000 Mistake

This police officer’s ego just cost the taxpayers of his county $80,000. He saw a man videoing him from a distance… and he just couldn’t deal with it. That man was actually also a police officer and had a reason to video this deputy. But because of his ego, or perhaps ignorance, the deputy abused his authority, retaliated against the man, arrested him and placed him in the back of his police car. But within 20 minutes, the man would be out of handcuffs, out of the police car, and receiving an apology. So what changed?

  1. The government helped invent the computer and cellular phone system and eliminate pay phone and basically the landline so they could track monitor and control the people. But they didn't think it would all backfire because now they can't keep anything they have been doing for ever quiet anymore

  2. This is management’s fault. They have fostered an environment of disregard for citizens rights.

If the genuine department policy was to respect civil rights, and if infractions were enforced vigorously then these cases would get small or no compensation.

But that’s not the genuine policy, and enforcement against offending officers is a slap on the wrist and a wink and a nod.

Tired of taxpayers paying for this? Vote out the chief. Demand better. Until then voters are getting exactly what they deserve.

  3. Apologizing because it’s what’s best for him and his police office, thinking maybe it’ll help avoid repercussions .. what a shame..
β€œI’ll bite my tongue on that response” just goes to show there was no genuine apology

  4. what an idiot your ego is so big that you arrest a guy your boss takes the cuffs off the guy and tells you to apologize and you do that damn you should have humbled your self and said i’m sorry for being wrong today and for how my actions have affected you i was not looking at the situation through the right lens and i have been corrected and i apologize thank you for allowing e to do so

  5. πŸ˜‚

I’m so proud of the officer that was recording, specially when he said give me your name and batch number so I know who I might get the complaint against.

  6. The Follansbee West Virginia Police should be in alot of trouble for allowing Bellaire Harbor Services for getting away with a co worker dying and messing my life us. So should the coast gaurd people and osha. They swept it under the rug like nothing happend
