Cop Drags Man Out of His Car For “Playing a Constitutional Rights Game”

Deputy Stefan Ortiz with the Volusia County (Florida) Sheriff’s Office stopped an older man for an alleged faulty tag light. Within minutes he literally drug the man out of his car and arrested him, telling another officer that the man was attempting to play a “constitutional rights game” with him. This video raises common issues that occur across the country, where police officers disregard basic constitutional rights, and the entire criminal justice system seems to allow it….

  1. Why do they always pull out the Pennsylvania vs Mimms thing?? It’s the ONLY case cops bring up! Then they stand around after the arrest and embellish the stop & arrest😂😂. They always make it sound like the cop is constantly right in every case. So tired of these crooked, lying cops!! Where are all of the good officers who truly protect the people!! Where are the good officers who do not lie about their stops & don’t have to embellish their stories?? Now this cop will forever be known as a psycho cop who lies & embellishes his stories😂😂😂

  2. Why didn’t the cop explain from the get-go that he saw him come out of the bar, and because he was asking the same questions repeatedly, it makes it look like he’s possibly under the influence? Why didn’t the cop just explain that when the guy wanted to know why he should get out of his car?

  3. Most of these police officers are troublemakers, escalating situations into deadly assaults and even killing the public. I am from Canada, and five years ago three RCMP officers wrongfully arrested me with violent assaults and kicking. Their actions were completely inhumane and against the Human Rights Code.

Many of these officers are liars. They assault and injure people, and then try to deny what they have done.

Three RCMP officers from Richmond, BC, did the same to me. They kicked me, handcuffed me, and pinned their knee continuously into my back. They caused lifelong injuries to my back and wrist, and in the end, they tried to deny everything they had done.

  4. He's clearly getting the driver out to punish him and not for safety. When the driver wanted to get out and check his tag lights he was told to stay in the car. Strange how not two minutes later the cop is ordering him to get out of the car. I'd love to hear how he explained that to a judge.

  5. A classic typical abuse of authority and constitutional rights violation case that's getting out of control, just one reason out of many why police are called pigs, this cop needs to reprimanded.

  6. There needs to be more info. Cop watched him walk out of a bar and drive. What was the outcome of the drug/alcohol test?? Was the guy actually drunk??? I don't like this cops behavior…..but I HATE drunk drivers. Let's find the truth!!

  7. STEFAN ORTIZ-"officer of the year !" it is much more true to name this disgustingly corrupt LIAR "CRIMINAL OF THE YEAR !"
This shows how the PDs reward their highly criminal elements, without ANY ACCOUNTABILITY, these zeros are treated like heroes !

  8. Wow….This is what scares me about visiting the USA…I reside in the UK 🇬🇧
I would certainly like the name of this police officer and his Departments address and email…
I am definitely going to shoot an email to his Chiefs….even though I don’t live in America….The Land of the Free and Home of the Brave…really ??

  9. This guy is a class act A$$H@LE, what the heck man, he was on a power trip right from the word hello
And now that all cops wear camera's, I am blown away by how many piggies lie to get their way, that is narcissist behavior 101

  10. I think police should have to attend, unbeknownst to them, a berating by a bunch of people off the street, just to see how they react in such a situation. If they can keep their cool and actually de-escalate the situation, well then here's your badge you may police, if they end up throwing their police power around trying to make everyone submit to their authority and escalate the situation, nope, no pass go, no collect anything. More times than not the police are the instigators, escalators, intimidators, bullies, uneducated, and UNWANTED!

  11. Judges, police and prosecutors annoyes civil rights. They think that disturbs my work, but guess why civil rights are most important: They are difference between dictatories regime and a democracy. I am from Europe. Nowadays I saw here on YT police stories about officer did not pay his rent for car and arrest the towing truck driver, who only wants to reposess rented car. Really insane police stories, which are bogus or enforces policies or are crimes, but not law. That has to stop. You can stop that as U.S. Americans. For example police officers must get a training of 3 years and not 3 months. There must be clear lines defined for judges to step in: uncessary excessive force means police officer goes to prison, lose pension and is not paid.

  12. The ONLY law training police academies teach is what’s related to how to arrest people. No constitution law. No other laws. That’s why there’s a disconnect when charges don’t get filed on arrest charges. How many years of school do lawyers do before they even take the bar exam? But somehow police think they know the laws? That’s a joke. Judges have to be a lawyer for 10 years before they can be a judge. All those years of practicing law in court but police with no law training thinks they know the laws. Undergrad law student has more law classes than any police academy. When you compare the difference it’s pathetic.

  13. cops love to drink each others diarrhea…the savory, pungent broth gives them sustenance while the chewy, meaty chunks give them fiber…..and the occasional corn bits are their favorite…….

  14. Jordan vs City of New London Connecticut needs reversed. How is hiring low IQ yes men a benefit to the citizens they are tasked to serve? For 25 years we have lived under one of the biggest fumbles our justice system has conceived.
