This police officer’s ego just cost the taxpayers of his county $80,000. He saw a man videoing him from a distance… and he just couldn’t deal with it. That man was actually also a police officer and had a reason to video this deputy. But because of his ego, or perhaps ignorance, the deputy abused his authority, retaliated against the man, arrested him and placed him in the back of his police car. But within 20 minutes, the man would be out of handcuffs, out of the police car, and receiving an apology. So what changed?

  1. Nothing will change until we change it. Will only happen thru war. Sadly. Bloodshed makes people wake up… seems like it will soon be we the people against law n order.

  2. Back in the 1990's, I worked the overnight shift at a Seven-Eleven in Adams County, CO. A suspicious car pulled into the lot and just sat there. I asked a Thornton PD officer to check up on the driver, as he had sat there for over two hours. The officer blew me off. then at the end of my shift, the duty Sargent walked in, and I reported that this car, which was still in the lot for now about six hours, and that I reported it to his officer over four hours ago. The Sargent took my contact info, as the car was now surrounded by six police cars. The next night, the officer that I had talked to first, came in complaining that I nearly cost him his job. The man in the parking lot, was wanted on drug charges, had two keys of cocaine, 16 pounds of marijuana, scales, and a loaded 9mm firearm. I found all of this out when the County called me to get more information about what I had seen. Thee first officer got a reprimand, and the suspect received a long prison sentence.

  3. No I don't think it was enough. I think that cops should have been fired. His certification polled and not be able to be a cop, secured guard or anything else. The cop wasn't nothing but a jerk off.

  4. I want to know if that cop had his breathelizer to start his car in his police cruiser. My cousin had to blow to go for a half year. What did this cop get for his DUI except to keep his job you need a licence to have and mandatory six month blow and go machine in his vehicle.

  5. 17:17, in order to successfully "pace" a speeding vehicle, you must also be speeding to match its speed. "
The off-duty reserve officer could be breaking the law, as they would be acting outside the scope of their authority and potentially engaging in reckless behavior themselves by "pacing" the on-duty officer.
Some might perceive a degree of hypocrisy or poor judgment if the off-duty reserve officer themselves broke traffic laws… Cops aren't that smart. I'm special ed and can even see their errors. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚
